Happy to be here!
Hi everyone! I am so happy to be here. I am Muriel from Holland. I am on an interesting journey the past few years. I am sick now for three years, long covid, and it turned my world upside down. The symptoms made me spend so much time alone. All this time by myself, not being able to be with my ex and my kids, made me realise that I needed change. I lost my job, I divorced, I moved out, I lost so many people because these events. I think it was a dark night of the soul. It was the best thing that could ever happen to me. Now I feel so very much aligned with what my soul wants me to learn or do. Choosing myself created so much love in my life. I’ve been divorced now for a year and I am looking back, processing, and I know there’s so much more to learn. That’s why I am here. To learn, to help, to inspire, to get inspired, to be with like minded souls. I love the invitation to be honest, to be yourself, to be raw, because I don’t want nothing else but that. After pleasing and adjusting all my life, I really love and need authenticity. Thanks for having me here ❤️🥰🙏🏻

10 things that will almost always guarantee more happiness
Nothing groundbreaking or that you haven't heard before... Just the stuff we forget when life gets loud and demanding.. It's always nice to have a little refresher 😃 1️⃣ Take care of your body.. Something that has been a game changer for me is.. Sleep 8+ hours. Get 10,000+ steps in daily... Eat real food. Drink water + maldon salt.. It's hard to feel good in life when your body is exhausted. Oh and CELERY JUICE! An amazing detox to take on an empty stomach in the morning. 2️⃣ Be honest with yourself.. Even when it’s uncomfortable...Especially when it’s uncomfortable. One of the best gifts we can give ourselves is honesty about who we're being, where we're at, and where it is we want to go (and be around) 3️⃣ Let go of what you can’t control.. Most of our stress comes from fighting reality instead of meeting it.. Accept the moment as it is not how you want it to be. Byron Katie has a quote that says "when I argue with reality I lose... but only 100% of the time"... Dance with the moments. Find the lesson in ALL of it! 4️⃣ Do one thing each day you’re proud of.. This doesn’t have to be huge. In fact, it usually isn’t. Keep a promise to yourself. Finish the thing you said you would...Speak up when you normally stay quiet. Self-trust is built in these small moments… and self-trust is a direct path to happiness. Create one WIN per day that you commit to and show up to complete.. This builds trust, trust builds confidence, and confidence builds the trajectory of your life. 5️⃣ Spend time with people who feel safe to your nervous system.. The ones you don’t have to perform for..The ones who don’t rush you, fix you, or drain you...Nervous systems regulate in healthy connection...Choose relationships that feel like simple exhalation, not effort. 6️⃣ Get outside every day.. Nature is truly medicine. The earth literally heals you.. direct physical contact with the Earth's surface allows the body to absorb free-flowing, negatively charged electrons. These electrons help neutralize positively charged free radicals.. often produced by inflammation, stress, or pollution=,, which can improve sleep, reduce pain, and lower cortisol. Sunlight. Fresh air. Bare feet on the ground if you can. Nature has a way of reminding us what matters and what doesn’t. Even five minutes can reset your entire state + nervous system.

Thank you so much for sharing Justin! ☺️ Number 3 and 5 really resonate with me. Resistance is causing so much tension in my body and I really feel better when I surrender and allow myself to feel. Nowadays I am only surrounded by people who feel good to my nervous system. It is a blessing after spending almost all my life with people I didn’t feel safe with. At the time I didn’t even know it. But the long covid taught me this. my body instantly reacted to people who didn’t felt safe for me. Isn’t that amazing?
