AI and Inner Development
I'm working on a 'Human(e) AI Creed' and crowdsourcing some feedback in different communities and thought I'd share here too. It starts like this: 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭, 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬. AI is something we use, not something we become. 𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩. Nothing leaves our hands without passing through our own voice, our own judgment, our own care. We are accountable for what we put into the world, AI-assisted or not. 𝐖𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐡𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰. Some things are ours to do, not AI's: telling our own story, deepening our values, doing our inner work, and building real relationships. Human maturity becomes the competency of the future. 👉Here's the rest of the Creed. What's missing? Especially related to Inner Development? You can comment directly in the doc or put your thoughts in the comment section. Also, I thought this video is interesting about envisioning a positive AI World.

Sorry for a delay but this is very interesting and brings to mind Zack Kass's observation that AI may actually force us to become more human, not less. He argues that our future advantage might not be intelligence itself but our capacity for the Six Human Capacities which he suggests we embrace. They are: 1. Curiosity 2. Empathy 3. Courage 4. Wisdom 5. Humor 6. Morality Humans are the main character—not AI.
Adelaide Climate Action Week embeds IDG in Australian first.
Incredibly proud to share a massive milestone for our local community and the global movement! 🌏🌱 Adelaide Climate Action Week (#ACAW2026) is officially integrating the Inner Development Goals framework into its entire 7-day program this July - making it the first climate event in Australia to do so! Instead of treating the IDGs as standalone academic theory, as part of the awesome ACAW organising team, we are seamlessly embedding the 5 dimensions directly into the operational infrastructure of the festival. We are calling it the "Root to Fruit" strategy: activating the relational and cognitive inner skills (the root) to drive measurable, collective climate action on the ground (the fruit). What this looks like in practice is multi-dimentional interactions Connect, Reflect and Contribute. Momentum to here has been built through the stewardship for embedding the IDG that I've doing with national women's organisations and climate networks in Australia. ACAW is a huge step forward in shifting the climate narrative in Australia from individual anxiety to collective, human-centred agency. Deep gratitude to everyone in the IDG community who is championing the IDG which collectively adds the ripples that makes milestones like these possible. Much love to you and all, Wx 💞 https://acaw.org.au/

Love this! Wow. What an inspirational testimony of practice! Thanks so much for sharing.
What news sources are you reading that you would recommend?
I’ve been an avid reader of Le Courrier International for a long time as it takes news from global sources and publishes them in French. This morning reading about global politics I discover UNHEARD and am quite surprised and pleased with their work. Please share your recommendations on news worthy sources as we need to read and hear unbiased (if that still exists) coverage. Thank you 🙏

Appreciate all of these shares. I have enjoyed the neutral fact based reporting of the Christian Science Monitor - nothing religious. Still seems just clean and informative.
Human Skills for this AI era
We had such a rich conversation today exploring the intersection of AI, the heart, and the mind — sparked by Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind. His premise: the future belongs to the human capacities that logic can't replicate. Which feels urgent now that AI has the left-brain stuff pretty well covered. So we asked: what do we bring that's irreducibly human? What came up in our discussion: 🌍 Context and culture — AI generates content, but humans understand why this story, for these people, right now 🌸 Embodied and feminine knowing — Nadene named it: AI was largely built without women at the table. That shapes what gets captured and what gets flattened. 🤝 Presence — touch, laughter, tears. We can't prompt for that. 💡 Forward thinking + emotional connection — imagining futures we haven't lived yet, holding space for what's unspoken Pink also named six human skills for the AI era, I've added them in visuals below. The question we're sitting with: how do we cultivate these capacities in ourselves and in the leaders we work with? What's your answer? What do you bring that AI can't? 👇

Curiosity? Or is that implied in Questions? What a productive spark to more thought. Connection!
Caring for the Earth
This is one of so many projects of indigenous stewards caring for the Earth. It holds a special place in my heart and I wanted to share it with you. I’ve always been in love with trees, especially old ones. In this 5-minute video, Inside Kanaka Bar’s Conservation Plan: Protecting Rare Ecosystems & Indigenous Culture, hear from Kanaka community members as they discuss their vision and the ecological and cultural significance of this protected area initiative. This project is on the west coast of Canada in British Columbia. What projects that care for the Earth do you hold close to your heart?
