Is fat oxidized from cooking
I've heard someone saying that one reason to consume raw meat is due to the fact that cooking oxidizes the fat, and like seed oils it becomes toxic. I'm just not sure to what degree this happens. Also we have been cooking meat for probably 2 million years and if it were a problem then we would have adapted to it genetically. I have also heard that saturated fat is much more resilient to oxidation from heat than poly unsaturated fats. So, I'm not sure if this argument holds any water.

I eat most of my meat raw. I get my butcher to prepare all different types of meat and roasts as well, into very thin shredded slices. I then lay them out on a tray and freeze them as is. Eat them frozen and some even semi frozen. This makes tougher cuts extremely easy and delicious to eat. Brisket is truly mouth watering prepared this way. Even cheap top or bottom round tastes incredible without the chewiness. OR I just mince all types of meat into ground beef and again freeze them into small chunks and eat them as is. Again I do this because it tastes good not because I think there is anything superior to raw. And it does make for nice cool and crunchy texture for those that want more variety. One caveat. Ribeye is best eaten blue rare and bloody juicy. NOT RAW 😩 Eating it Raw is shameful 😉

Also I trim up all the fat from all my meat and cut up in chunks and again FREEZE them into solid. Eat them raw and it’s delicious and melts into my mouth.

Post hip replacement (2weeks), strengthens my ankles and calves walking barefoot outside. And has definitely improved my overall recovery from the surgery.

Enjoyed the honesty and integrity of two respected GIANTS in the Carnivore (and all matters relating to health) community. Thank you gentleman. As a 💯 clean carnivore fit and lean thriving 58yr old gal for since Aug/25. After eating ONLY fruits & veggies, NO MEAT for 25 years, and years of bloating and debilitating monthly migraines, it still amazes me how many health benefits clean carnivore is. In a matter of days my bloat disappeared. Haven’t had one migraine since my switch to eating only meat, fish and eggs and organs. Stubborn face rash for years, cleared up. What was only supposed to be for a 30 day challenge, I don’t think I will EVER eat another carb. 💯 carnivore 🥩
