@James Dawkins I've used that argument as well "meat is the most nutrient dense food on the planet" and they will invariable come back with "what about fiber and polyphenols and antioxidants". At that point I'd just say "you need to do some research" on human nutrition.
From what I have learned, cells prefer fats over glucose. The only reason cells use glucose first is, because glucose is seen as a toxin and the body wants to get rid of it. Also the brains runs better on ketones than glucose as it is "cleaner" burning.
Well, personally I have definitely aged in reverse. At 65 I have taken up hobbies I thought were only part of my past. I started going to the gym again, something I thought was long gone. And most of all I can finally think logically and critically once again, something I thought was long gone after a brain injury I suffered in the past.
