Rolex “Captain America” Yacht Master
My friend finally bought one through me last month, he was out of town when it came it so he asked me to “Test Drive” it a few days. Don’t have to tell me twice! I’ve liked this one for quite sometime and was nice to get my hands on it for awhile. The blue dial really pops in the sun and the platinum bezel just shines! Best part is another friend loved it also so I sold him one too a week later! I’ll be adding one to my collection in the Spring as its becoming the standard for the Alaska watch dorks! Brand: Rolex Model: Yacht Master Nickname: Captain America Reference: 126622-0002 Case size: 40mm MSRP: $13,200 Market Price: $14,500~

Sweet watch Joe! The "Hulk" with me on a recent dove hunt on the border of AZ and California to go along with the Super Hero theme..

@Joe Kerley IV I really like the dial, the green sun burst dial is definitely a one of a kind. It's definitely one of my favorites in my collection for sure. Super comfortable with the glide lock too..

Weekly Watch Lover Member Shoutouts ⌚️
Gents, here are a few standout posts from the Watch Lover community this week. 👏 Shoutout to @James Milson for "TBT — Timex National Parks Collection" — a throwback to picking up a National Parks-themed Timex over a year ago, celebrating accessible watches with real character and a nod to the great outdoors. Post: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/tbt-timex-national-parks-collection 👏 Shoutout to @Darren Poesel for "Vintage Character, Modern Confidence" — the hunt for a vintage-inspired dress watch leads to the Alpina Heritage Carrée, and the post captures exactly why a rectangular case carries timeless appeal. Thoughtful, articulate watch shopping at its best. Post: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/vintage-character-modern-confidence 👏 Shoutout to @Chad Smith for "WOTD - Friday 24 July" — a Billabong Surf Time from 1993, purchased during Royal Australian Navy recruit school, chosen for its practical quick-timer across fire, damage, and nuclear drills. A watch with genuine history and purpose. Post: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/wotd-friday-24-july 👏 Shoutout to @Ronello Fernandez Bernardo for "Nice to be Back" — a warm return post that clearly resonated, drawing 15 likes and 19 comments from a community glad to have him back. Sometimes the simplest posts carry the most heart. Post: https://www.skool.com/watch-lover/nice-to-be-back Keep the wrist shots coming — every watch tells a story, and yours are worth sharing.

Tudor Over Rolex: The Smart Watch Choice Most Men Overlook
If you're serious about adding a signature Swiss watch to your wardrobe, here's something worth knowing before you spend $10,000. The Rolex Submariner is the benchmark. Everyone knows it. It signals success in any room, in any city, in any context. That's real value — and it's why the waitlists are 18 months long and grey market prices still run $1,500+ above list price. But here's what changed: Tudor — Rolex's sister brand — now uses in-house movements built in a Rolex Group proprietary manufacture called Kenissi, certified to the same COSC chronometer standard, with the same 70-hour power reserve and silicon hairspring. The technical gap that used to separate the two brands is effectively closed. The Black Bay 58 retails at $4,975. The Submariner no-date retails at $10,050 — after January's price increase. And the Tudor is available today, off the shelf, at your authorized dealer. For a man who cares about what's on his wrist but also about making intelligent decisions: Tudor gives you 90% of the experience at half the price - NOW. The 10% you're giving up is the crown on the dial and the resale premium. If those matter to you, buy the Rolex. If what matters is a well-made, in-house movement Swiss watch you can actually wear daily without thinking twice about scratches — Tudor is the smarter and more contemporary call. Style is about wearing what fits your life, not what impresses someone who doesn't know the difference. And if they do not, you can actually explain. What's on your wrist? 👇

I'll bite the bullet and play devils advocate Yes Tudor are phenomenal watches and are 80-90% Rolex. Just like Toyota is 90% Lexus. Rolex stands alone whether you like it or not with quality and re-sale value period! They are both excellent watches but the reality is Rolex is and will always be King!
