First game 10-0 Second game 25 (or more, lost count) - 0 Third game 3-3 A great game. Forth game 16 - 0 This is the Central Warwickshire Sunday league. A complete mis-match of the teams abilities. Hopefully the games will get more even Only one person benefitted from this and that is my son in goal. He had lots to do, made some great saves and his head didn't drop. Plus his outfield team mates kept on going. The other teams were celebrating like they had won the league! But they didn't learn much. Hopefully the league will arrange more even games as soon the boys will get disillusioned.

Wow... That's some goal count. Freya played against a boys team quite some time back and it was about 16-1 to them and all it did was cause people to come off with their heads dropped. It caused her to come over midway saying she didn't want to finish the game. Luckily that was a while ago and she's alot more conditioned to blocking hard hits and confidence has gone up loads but yeah it can cause a rollercoaster of emotions for sure. Well done to your son for keeping going with it though. Sounds like he stuck at it and did what he could whilst staying strong.

Whats on this weekend
Hey guys what have you all got in this weekend. No game for me as it's our rest week. We are going to play laser tag as a team though for some team building. Sunday morning I will attend j4k training as I missed last weekend due to our cup match. Whatever you are doing enjoy

Enjoy the laser tag and training. Freya has training this evening and a game tomorrow morning playing on astro so she's going to be well padded up for that šš.

@Dave Gisbourn A 6-1 win this week. The goal was a bit of hesitation about whether or not to come out and intercept the ball. She stayed back and it got put into the corner. A good performance though and some decent saves.

Gracie herself has identified her mindset got to her today (member of opposition her bestie at school) Got into her head a bit.... Sooooo I've gone and done a thing... Alongside some new gloves to go with it. Anything to help her progress. Unfortunately her mindset only thing holding her back now... She's capable. Everyone sees it except her.

A win today
Freya's team managed to secure a 6-1 win today. The goal was probably one where she should have run out and intercepted it but a bit of hesitation and it got booted into the corner. A good performance though and another 11 saves in the bag Vs the one goal
