Hi all, Haven't posted for a while... Work and other commitments took over for a while. Freya's still smashing it in goal and putting in 100% effort. She's going for a try out at another team as well as playing for her existing team but the potential new team is in a mixed league so she'll be coming up against some potential bigger hits and harder tackles so I want to get her some shok shields to bolster her confidence a bit and protect the back of her hands whilst she gets used to it. I'm just wondering if anyone has a pair of ice Vantra and a pair of shok shields as a size comparison as we found some gloves fit bigger than others (pro s.25 Vs ice Vantra as an example, the s.25 a size 5 fits her but ice Vantra it's a size 6). I'm just trying to avoid getting the wrong size and having to return them 🙂. Cheers all! 🙂

This one maybe a long post so please bare with. My ultimate goal in life would be to leave the 9-5 rat race and create my own football club/ school/ development center whatever you'd like to call it, but that being said it requires a lot of upfront costs etc. After snapping my ACL last year and having to take the time off work for the operation and recovery, it's opened my eyes as to what I actually want to do with my life. As some of you may know I'm the manager/ coach of my grassroots team and we are at the beggining of the journey where it starts to become competitive rather than just about fun, that being said it's the time where I need players to start to develop and polish their skills. With grassroots being voluntary and not a paid position, I'm looking at setting something up on the side completely separate to the actual team. I'm hoping to set up small group coaching sessions maybe 6-8 players on a 4week development programme focusing on different aspects of the game. With this being separate from the team (although it will be offered as an addition to them) what are your thoughts on paying for additional sessions. Sorry for waffling on, I just wanted to get some opinions before I make any decisions

Had Freya to a couple of days of this and she walked away with player of the day and a medal on one of them. She's really happy and I'm really happy for her! It's all confidence boosting. 🙂🙂

So we finished today for 2 weeks off. Still have football games scheduled and be nice to relax for a bit.
