I’ve poured a great deal of care into every cue, and I can’t wait for you to hear the finished work when it goes live next month. To mark the occasion I’m also opening Trailer Music Trailblazers II in early access! The course shell is ready for enrolment today, even though the lesson videos are still being filmed. Over the coming days I’m recording detailed walkthrough videos of the custom (and downloadable) Cubase template I built for the project, along with fresh material on the core techniques I rely on when writing modern trailer music. As soon as the album is officially out, I’ll begin releasing a series of track-focused videos that unpack the creative thinking behind each piece, followed by modules that explore the instruments, used libraries & sounds and plug-ins in more depth. Because this is an early-access window, anyone who already owns Trailer Music Trailblazers I can secure the sequel for a one-time founder price of $97; the fee will increase to $247 once the full curriculum is online. This time we want to head into the direction of trailer music. So in case you are interested in this style, feel free to participate. Now, here is the mission: Write an 8 bar epic and powerful percussion loop. Feel free to pick any tempo, time signature and libraries. The only goal is to make it as epic, powerful, driving and nerve-racking as possible 💥 It should be that kind of arrangment happening towards the epic main theme. Please only focus on the percussion arrangement itself. No additional instruments. Deadline is the 7th of March! I don't want to put pressure on it, but it is just an 8 bar loop, so it shouldn't take too much time 😊 Please post your examples IN THIS THREAD as a comment. Hey everyone, I hope you guys have an amazing week. First of all, I wanted to announce that @Mikael Sebastian won the trailer percussion challenge. His loop contained everything I asked for.
