Week 2 of building Fairyland
This week I added a few new pieces to the forest - a little house inside a tree, a pathway, a lantern by the door, and a small hobbit-style house with moss and a chimney. It’s still growing slowly, but it’s starting to feel more and more like Fairyland. Thanks so much for following along. What was your favorite part of Week 2?

Fairyland - Week 1 Recap 🌿
It's hard to believe we're already one week into building Fairyland. 🙏 So far we've built: - A fairy feasting table - A tiny library - Two tall fairy houses - A fairy house built into a tree - An apothecary Here's a look back at everything from the first week. 😊 If you've been following along on Instagram or Facebook, what have you enjoyed most so far? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Mary ❤️

Working on a new fairy house
So I've just started working on a new fairy house. I'll share pictures/ideas along the way. My fairy houses always start with walks in the woods. I'm lucky to live near several state parks. I always bring a shopping bag with me...and sometimes my saws-all. And I collect stuff. It's helpful to have a lot of stuff on hand--interesting pieces of wood, tree roots. Here's my stock pile, as well as a piece I found in the woods yesterday that might make the basis of a roof.

@Julia Van Develder Beautiful 🤗 I wanted to do a little fairy place in my garden but never made it. I came here to be inspired 😉
Welcome to the Fairyland Community ✨
I’m so glad you’re here. This is a cozy creative space for people who love fairy houses, fairy gardens, tiny handmade details, and nature-inspired projects. Inside this community, you can meet like-minded fairy house lovers, share your ideas and creations, ask questions, get inspired by others, and join creative workshops and seasonal challenges. You do not need experience, perfect materials, or fancy tools. You can start small, use what you already have, and create alongside others who enjoy the same kind of creativity. Best way to begin: 1. Introduce yourself in the Introductions section 2. Tell us what brought you here and what you’re hoping to find in the community 3. Share your first idea, question, progress photo, or finished project I’m excited to see what you create here. Mary
