A Peek Into My Fairyland Project
Okay, as I promised, I’d share some of the work I’ve been creating lately. Most of it is finished, though I still have a few more things to make, and I’ll share those too once they’re completed. I didn’t just leave everything as it was. As you know, some animals or creatures damaged parts of it, such as the acorn lights and the deck by the fairy door. I had to remove those pieces and bring them inside the house. I set everything up again today to see what needed adjusting or adding. While observing the setup, I took some pictures to give you an idea of what I’ve made. It has been so much fun letting my imagination flow, and honestly, sometimes I wish I could shrink down and live in this little fairyland myself. :) The long nature dining table and chairs are actually my favorite pieces in this fairyland. That was the very first thing I made, and it came completely from my own creativity, which makes it even more special to me. Feel free to share any feedback or suggestions if you think I should adjust or add anything to make it even more lovely and ready for my event on June 13th.

@Janet Merz I made them from polymer clay, shaping each piece into small balls to resemble rocks. It took a lot of time but I worked on it little by little whenever I was driving and stopped at traffic lights, rolling and shaping them during those moments. It wasn’t actually my original idea. I found it online and I really loved her concept so I decided to try making it myself. Let me see if I can find her link...

Hi.I am from Maryland. I’m an avid dollhouse crafter who loves creating miniatures. Recently, I’ve been making fairy-themed pieces for my Pop-Up event in June. I enjoy the challenge of being creative and I truly admire each person’s unique style and imagination. I was referred to this community and I’m so glad to have found it. I look forward to sharing our creativity and working together to make something special that brings our creativity to life. :) Here is a picture I recently made chairs. More to come soon.

@Kristina Wood I haven’t posted pictures of the dollhouses lately. My Instagram account is bluebrightstar, which is mainly for my photography business, but I also share other things there from time to time. I usually post whenever I make miniatures. Right now, I’m completely focused on building a new fairyland for my hosting event in June. :) I will share some pictures of what I did make.
Fairyland vs. The Woodland Creatures
I made these tiny string lights for my Fairyland and have been loving my little daily visits to check on the progress for my Pop-Up event on June 13. Well… apparently the local wildlife has also been visiting. Today I arrived to discover complete chaos. The string lights were chewed. All five acorns had lost their lights. There was fur all over the ground like a tiny woodland crime scene. At this point, I think a squirrel, raccoon, or some other furry contractor decided my Fairyland needed “renovations.” My Fairyland is about 150 feet away from the house, so apparently I have opened an all-you-can-eat buffet for forest creatures. My father suggested covering it with chicken wire, which means my magical Fairyland may soon look like a maximum-security fairy prison. I guess I can’t leave it unprotected if I still want to enjoy visiting it every day. Has anyone else had woodland creatures declare war on their outdoor decorations?
