Why are you self publishing? 🤔
Is there a specific reason? Are you on a time crunch? Are you a bit of a control freak and need to do it yourself? Is it about the money potential?

@Danielle Marietta Great question! I am trying to self-publishing with Amazon Kindle Publishing (KDP) via my poetry books because I want to make things happen by creating opportunities to inspire readers readily, realize their dreams boldly, and act collectively towards a strong sense of belonging. I also want to ensure that my book royalties go and work out as planned and expected, such that I can publish, market, and publicize my poetry books globally via the United States, Canada, Mexico, England, Spain, other European countries except Russia, India, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, other countries in South America except Venezuela and Columbia, plus other countries in Africa except Somalia.

@Barbara Freethy Sweet! That’s lovely and absolutely amazing. Thanks for sharing your truth and your perspective. Can you work with me on that structural integration for my publishing process to make things more professionally made?

@Barbara Freethy You’re most welcome, Barbara! Sure thing. I write poetry for three days a week via 3 poems every so often, and I do so every week until I finish my poetry book with a finished manuscript. I still need to do some editing at this juncture of my process. I feel things need improvement on my editing, basically. That’s about it.
Random live while editing! Come say hi!
I'm editing today! I figured I'd try just going live and seeing if anyone wants to pop on and ask questions...or just to say HELLO!

@Danielle Marietta I have created two different poetry books that are based on inspiration. I do my best and utmost to inspire people readily, realize boldly, and act collectively towards a strong sense of belonging. I am currently working on a third poetry book that is going to be my trilogy. My first poetry book is called “Transformation”, my second poetry book will be called “Connection”, and the third within my trilogy will be called “Phenomenal”. Enclosed are “Transformation”, which I designed via Canva, and it includes my book cover Title Page, Dedication Page, Copyright Page, Table of Contents, 40 poems, and the About the Author Page at the end. The second is a poetry collection called “Connection”, which has become a second poetry book. The third in the trilogy is currently in process, and I have about 12 poems right now; I look forward to having 30 or 40 poems that will conclude my poetry collection aka my third poetry book.

@Stephen Dquartzz Thank you very much! I really appreciate the connectedness about my upcoming trilogy! Yes, I definitely designed “Transformation “ via Canva some time ago. Poetry is one of my favorite passions. It’s been said to my mother, aunt, and even myself that I have a God-given talent for writing poetry. My medium for building that sense of belonging comes from my own essence of character, especially coming from my top character strength of Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence. It’s a term from the field of Positive Psychology, which is the scientific study of how to help people thrive via human flourishing. That’s what I aim to do with my Positive Psychology Coaching practice called Positive Psychology Solutions. Everything is in line with everything else when it comes to Positive Psychology and Poetry, as they both are integral to my favorite passions in my life. Plus, I actually have a unique perspective about when I first learned about my connection to the art of poetry in the first place. I actually started learning about poetry back in high school through an English teacher who talked to my classmates and I about classic and modern poetry authors and Poet Laureates. She (my English teacher) asks us to start reading poetry books so you can really get a feel for their work and their uniqueness. Afterwards, she asks us to write a poem as a writing assignment, so that’s exactly what I did and I wrote my first poem. It was magnificent to be a part of that process for the first time, actually.
