Rough morning but grateful for the period of peace afterwards. Got to hang out with my old friend and made it home afterwards safely; that’s all I can really ask for in a day.

Hard Ass War Week. Rolling into my first big art show of the season- and of course it’s on top of Spring chaos. We brought the first load of large format work to the site today and am in the throws of artistic last minute self inflicted chaos. Pack and load tomorrow am for the weekend show. Two of my fire features are the focal points of the whole art show, which could be big for the studio. Will have a long day of packing, transporting and set up tomorrow. By far the most aggressive I’ve been on a show to date- guessing I’ll have likely 8 tons of product on display. (#NoPlayingSmall) Yesterday was a 5 am - 11:15 pm day and today has been a 4:45am to still at it sort of day. Tomorrow will likely be the same. And with no days off since beginning of April - starting to feel it a little. Self care is minimal this week. This is the part of becoming successful nobody talks about (and is required). Been grumpy as shit but posting this right now is forcing me into a degree of gratitude as I feel like I’m being a little bitchy over here 🤣 I’ll send pics of our set ups.

Today was a pretty good day. I had an interview and it sounds like I’ll have the job if I want it. I have to decide if I’m willing to take a slight pay cut in order to keep some income rolling in or if I need to wait it out another week or so for some better opportunities. Decisions…decisions 😎

Finally gaining some traction again with the different houses; trying to understand things at a deeper level. I feel like I’ve been going through some kind of spiritual transformation of some sort..like there’s some wisdom speaking but some of it is found through the pain of transforming. I hope it’s some kind of phoenix rising from the ashes because it’s not very pleasant, but it’s healing at the same time. Grateful for the lessons I’m learning along the way.
