So I had a designer come up from Nantucket just to come see my work up at this greenhouse project site (it’s an island off the coast of cape cod next to Martha’s Vineyard - equally as rich and.exclusive and similarly requires boat or plane to hit the mainland). He had heard of me through a close industry friend and has a project here in the state that he’s searching for a contractor for. The meeting went fantastic and we’ll be setting a meeting up on site in two weeks when he’s off island again to review the work. The pictures of the property being developed is something else and it’ll be fun to play a part in it. This is a whole new adventure for me as this is a billionaire class money world I’m entering (which I’m sure will mean NDAs and lots of owners reps and people). Wild. Just wild. I’ll keep you all posted.
A rarity in my game these days, I’ve escaped for the ENTIRE long weekend to play with Diana and three of the kids in Montreal. Found a sweet Air BnB on the 49th floor of one of the towers in the middle of the city. Do enjoy the time with these amazing humans and will spend today day just roaming around seeing more cool stuff and eating great food. Have a great call- hoping to finally be able to jump in on next week’s. Summer and this greenhouse project have been bonkers. Miss you all.
Hey all. Quick greenhouse update for you all… moving right along with the stone work. Likely have this part wrapped up by end of next week. Just gets sweeter each day and enjoying running the entire project. Lucky to have such talented trades folk around me. (The stone work for the entryway is entirely me. The crew is doing the large back wall)
deep in the greenhouse game now… Crazy when I look around and realize that everyone on this site works for me. Can’t wait to keep sharing the progress. Here’s a few from our first real week onsite doing our tasks. Rolled into the veneer yesterday afternoon and just moving through the square feet now. The entire outside of the building and gable ends will look like this.
