Share Screen
How do I find the Share Screen to add the link in the OnStart settings?

@Elvis Eyobor It was on the OnStart from the Jumpstart kit that Darren Neese put together. Down below the Application Link: gblAplicationLink Set( gblAppGlobals, { ApplicationName: "NFARS Refilling App", ApplicationStringKey: "NEESEUS-APPTEMPLATE", ApplicationLogo: Logo, // graPATutorialLogo, ThemeKey: "NFARS-Refilling", // Reference the image you wish to be displayed in the application header bar AppVersion: "2026.01.07", // Each time you publish your applicaiton, update this string to reflect the new version number DeveloperEmails: & gblOriginalDeveloper, AdminEmails: & gblOriginalDeveloper, TesterEmails: " & gblOriginalDeveloper, ApplicationLink: gblApplicationLink, // Go to the share screen to get the link to paste here DebugButton_X: 1003, DebugButton_Y: 8, DefaultFontName: "Open Sans", DefaultDataEntryHeight: 30 }
Check In App - Auto Numbering
I created a check in app based off a sharepoint list and I would like to assign the next available number after the user checks in. In the app the user clicks date and time and then a check in button and it updates the CheckInTime column in my sharepoint list. I have created another column called called CheckInTkt. What I want to happen is if the first user checks in at 1:00pm then I would like CheckTKT to update to 1 and then if another user checks in at 1:05pm then CheckItkt would update to 2. For the life of me, after hours of google searches and videos I can not figure out how to do this.

@Elvis Eyobor would this also work if it is not perse to check in but to just auto populate a next number id or label?

🚀 PowerApps Performance Tips: Make Your Apps 10x Faster!
Hey everyone! If you want to speed up your PowerApps workflow and boost performance, here are two proven tips that can make a huge difference: ✅ 1. Creating PDFs - Instead of complex workarounds, use the HTML Text Control with the PDF() Function. It’s lightweight and efficient for generating PDFs. This method is 10x faster than using PDF() Function with containers ✅ 2. Saving a Collection of Data - Avoid using ForAll() for bulk updates—it’s slow and resource-heavy. Instead, go for Direct Patch() for faster and smoother data operations. ==>> Patch(Datasource, myCollection) You can get this to work by first saving the schema of the datasource into the collection by using this formula here: ClearCollect(myCollection, Filter(DataSource, false)); Update your collection with entries then patch back to the datasource.. it works 10x faster than using the ForAll() 🏁🏁These methods have been tested and deliver noticeable improvements. Try them out and let me know your results! 💡

Ok newbie here. What can I do if I do not have the menu options to import a MSAPP? I have limitations, probably due to using the federal government computers, I was going to try to use my personal laptop, when I found out that the software that I purchased through a cost savings program via the Department of the Air Force does not have the Power Platform options. Can I just purchase the option to download Power Apps or do you know if it is only available through a full scope Microsoft Office license?

@Elvis Eyobor thank you for the clarification.
Our Roadmap
Currently, I'm creating an MVP (minimal viable product) for a site for you that will list out all my content based. ========================= - I could easily index and provide a great search feature to find any video, course, module, etc. that you're looking for! - Read-Only content (for now) - Full listing of YouTube videos - Showing Courses, Modules, Lesson, and, if you (or should have) access, videos - Authorization (account creation) ⬇️⬇️ Once I get this up and running for you guys (by end of day Friday), this is the next priority ⬇️⬇️ Every month, I plan to produce: ========================= - One Workshop (doing one a month rather than each week gives me more time to make the one that we do, be of higher quality) - One Substantial feature to the JumpStart template - One structured/well-planned YouTube video, released publicly - One Live Stream (around 3 hours, probably on a weekend in the month) - 30-50 Small videos (bite-sized, 5-10 min) - I will have a long recording session with Camtasia (my video editor) where I go over 30-50 small topics that would flow back to back making it much easier on myself to crank these out. :) - Video editing will have to be minimal - One virtual video meeting (office hours where anyone may ask any Power Apps related questions) ========================= What are you most excited about seeing? (after voting, comment below on topics you would want covered in the item you voted for). [email protected] 📨📨
