AI & SDR / cold calling
I have had a great discussion with my sales leader today. he said that air.ai is already used in the US for making cold calls... I asked him if AI could really empathise with prospects and therefore remove the human component in cold calls for being understanding and consultative (also to agitate any pain)... obviously the answer is yes and that would mean that simply on that base, simple SDR'ing would be replaced... How do you guys look at this any time soon?

No Shows
What's the best way to deal with no shows? Any good pattern interrupts for that?

Something I picked up from Benjamin Dennehy is asking "can I ask a bit of a strange question? I know you just confirmed with me that you'll make the meeting...but what should I do if you don't show up?" (If I were British I'd probably say "a bit of a cheeky question") I've had people say "oh no I will definitely make it!" Or "call the police because that means something happened to me, because I will make it" or even "you can try calling my wife at this number". I've still had no shows but it seems to be an effective way to tie down their commitment in a more playful manner
Introduction from India
Hey everyone Shivraj from India here, I have been into lead generation space for the past 7 years (B2B), here to learn more about sales and how I can book more meetings for my clients. Also thinking about getting back to cold calling after 3 years of gap.

Welcome!
Sales Is Therapy
Where are your prospects on the cycle of change? Do they recognise they have a problem? Are they motivated to make a change? Your job is to get them to a place of deep thought and find out if they tick those boxes. Image attached might be useful for you.

I've never seen this before. Makes so much sense. Very helpful, thanks!
Semi (?) cold calling pattern interrupt?
I missed the Q&A and haven't watched the replay yet, so I'm not sure if this was covered. I mostly do triage calls, which are essentially mini discovery calls that are scheduled to my calendar. A prospect sees some material from us, enters their information, and picks a time on the calendar. But there are a good number of leads who enter their information but do not follow through with actually scheduling time on the calendar. Usually that goes to another team to call, but I am allowed to call leads that are a bit aged, 30 days+, so it might even be several months or a year since they've entered information with no contact from someone at our company. Do you have any suggestions on a pattern interrupt opener for calling these leads? I could probably use one of the permission-based cold call openers for really old leads, but I don't always have information on when they submitted their info, so that may not work for a more recent lead. Appreciate any suggestions...and apologies if this was already covered somewhere
