My name is Melissa Ferris in Olympia, Washington and I mostly unschool my two 9 yo boys. They are smart and have leaned a lot. I feel like we need more scheduled individual downtime/project time to make them spend time developing their own interests. I feel like they interrupt each other so much no thought gets worked through. Curious to see how others with kids close in age deal with this.

This is our third year visiting the same beach during the same week of the year. This year my boys have a great grasp of how dunes are formed from watching the wind and waves.
