AcroELEVATE 2026 - Early Bird Now Open
Hey Acro Dancers 👋 If you’ve been working on skills like aerials, back handsprings, or tumbling progressions and feeling excited about where you’re headed, this is for you. AcroELEVATE 2026 is officially open for early bird registration! This experience gives acro dancers the chance to train in a focused environment, explore different progressions, and better understand how their skills are supposed to feel - so things start to make more sense in regular classes. If you’re curious what the training environment is like, this video gives a good look at how the weekend is structured: AcroELEVATE takes place July 17–18, 2026 in Calgary. If this feels like something you’d be excited about this summer, you can find more information in the comments below.

Aerials Done Right Course — Module 5 Video Upload
Hi Aerial’ers 👋 It’s time to post your Module 5 homework!! This week is all about meeting yourself where you’re at and getting lots of quality reps in. Here’s how to choose what to post: 👉 Option 1: Record your FULL AERIALChoose this if you’re able to do one or you feel ready to confidently go for it. 👉 Option 2: Record the STEP you’re currently working onIf you’re still building, that’s totally okay. Stay with the step that feels strong and controlled for you: Step 2, Step 3, or Step 4. There’s no rush to move on. Repetition is what builds your aerial — not forcing the next step too soon. For this week’s homework: • Record a short video of your full aerial or • Record the step you’re currently training 📌 Important: When you post your video, please write which step you’re performing so I know exactly what you’re working on. Go practice, film your progress, and post it here in the chat, it doesn’t need to be perfect — progress comes from layering the steps properly. Can’t wait to see your videos! — Miss Melissa 💛

Aerials Done Right Course — Week 4 Video Upload
Hey everyone! 👋 It’s time for your homework this week! We’re working on: AERIAL Step #4 The Landing If you’re ready for Step 4, practice putting all the steps together smoothly. It should start feeling more fluid and closer to a real aerial. If Step 4 feels too hard, that’s okay! You can stay on Step 1, 2, or 3 — just keep practicing the step that feels strong for you. For Your homework: • Record a short video of the step you’re practicing • Write which step you’re doing in your post • Upload it in the group when you’re ready Try to post by Wednesday so you can get your feedback before Friday’s lesson. So excited to see your progress! — Miss Melissa

@Arabelle Schlachter Oooh this is looking good Arabelle! Ok here's what to work on: - Swing the arms back more on the takeoff - You may want to try with arms up and see if that gives you more power? This is coming together girl :) Miss M

@Lily Poulin Hi Lily - looking good and I'm seeing the improvement with your Aerials! Here's what to work on: - Keep your arms straighter and stronger - this will help a lot - Swing back more (don't let arms go out) The landing is looking really good! Now, practice, practice, practice! Well done girl - Miss M
Aerials Done Right Course — Week 3 Video Upload
Hi Aerial'ers 👋 It’s time to start posting your Week 3 homework when you’re ready. This week you have two options — dancer’s choice based on readiness: 👉 Option 1: AERIAL Step #2 – The Lift (again, to clean it up and build more power) 👉 Option 2: AERIAL Step #3 – Jumping directly onto the hands Only move on to Step 3 if Step 2 feels strong and controlled. If Step 3 feels scary or rushed — that’s a sign to keep working Step 2 a bit longer (and that’s totally okay!). For Step 3, focus on: • Swinging the arms fully back before bringing them around • Jumping up and forward onto the hands (not stepping into it) • Letting the cartwheel motion finish naturally Please upload a short video of whichever step you’re working on by Wednesday so there’s time for feedback before Friday’s lesson. It doesn’t need to be perfect - just show where you’re at. Progress comes from layering the steps properly. Repetition is key. Keep practicing throughout the week. Can’t wait to see your videos! — Miss Melissa

@Madison Smith Wow this is looking really good - well done. Corrections for this week: - Swing your arms back even more on the take off That will give you more lift that you'll need going into step 4 Good job! Miss M

@Lily Poulin Hi Lily - this is coming along nicely - here's your corrections to work on: - Swing the arms back more - Land on one foot and sustain - Make sure when you do land the second leg that it's in line with the first leg Work on those to prepare for Step 4 :) Miss M
