Hey there all you jewelry experts! My apologies if this has already come up but... I frequently come across pieces that appear to have value, but I struggle with identifying the maker’s marks or signatures, especially when they are small, partial, or worn. Are there any resources, reference guides, or strategies you recommend for researching maker’s marks beyond the usual Google image searches (which I've found is accurate maybe 0.6% of the time) I’m especially interested in learning better techniques for identifying unfamiliar or partial marks on sterling and vintage pieces. Any advice or reference materials would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!

I really don't sell much of my own jewelry anymore--might as well offer private/wholesale shows for people who would like to source resellable inventory on the cheap. Example of some jewels I could run is below. We currently have 12 premier members, so this would be a show that would top out at 12 active buyers if I started it right now. I'd work in freebies and the show would be a completely different vibe from your usual experience... Far less host noise, clean chat, dealers only pretty much, just a 30-60 minute wholesale auction.
