AI Fantasies vs. Realities
I watch my 15yo play with AI like a new toy- his curiosity is unlimited and fearless. He's already dabbled in a few business ideas such as drop-shipping, creating websites for companies that don't have one and creating trainable AI phone receptionists to field calls for small local businesses. He hasn't made any money yet , but he's tried way more than I have and learned SO much! 😊 I envy his uninhibited curiosity but he also gives little thought to follow-up, quality or liability if he's selling sub-par products. He wants to help me in my online business which I LOVE, but can't help feeling hesitant about all the aspects I don't know or understand that may come to bite me later. (I've had plenty of painful learning experiences with technology 😩.) I see the value in exploring!! BUT I want my exploring to be more targeted and purpurposeful. 👀My purpose in this summit - to see clearer examples of how AI can work for me- safely and predictably. What versions are best for things like... 1. Market research 2. Marketing strategy & content creation 3. Product research & development 4. Graphic design for products and Ads My main concerns are- 1. Are there legal issues with PRIVACY or COPYRIGHT (content ownership) that may come up if we're depending so much on programs that source data in ways we can't see? 2. How do we retain CREDIBILITY if we are no longer the true or exclusive creators of our work? I hope this summit has some REAL examples of AI possibilities and liabilities.
