Tonight’s dinner inspiration! (My 13yr old made this video.) Hopefully it encourages you, too! 💕 I’ll portion out what I made for the next couple of days, and probably add to it for the weekend. What else should I make?

Food Prep Win!
We’ve discovered that I need a whopping 11-12oz of each veggie, fruit and meat per meal, so Saturdays have become my batch cook days to stock the fridge with my meals for the week. This way I can easily stick to my eating times, while keeping up with my family’s meals, too. 😅 I’m still in the first phase, and loving all this yummy, colorful food! 💕 You guys, isn’t real food prep one of the ultimate self care things you can do for yourself?!

Weight Loss
This morning on Day 3 of my Fast40 journey, I lost .7lbs and became slightly disappointed that the number wasn’t higher. I began to compare a moment when I started the first time and how that number was more significant in comparison. However, I had a quick revelation that while the loss of fat is my ultimate goal, listening to my body and being intentional about embodying this lifestyle is more important. I am slowly beginning to appreciate the small wins, and am silencing the mental “accusers” which attempt to dim my progress. Therefore, I say today was a “Win”! I choose to celebrate this moment! ❤️🎉❤️
