Hi everyone…so exciting news. Liam has been working so hard to reach his dream and that is getting closer now. We got call yesterday, scout from Austrian Bundesliga team Rapid Wien. Invited for 4 trails. Apparently they have been watching for a while and now that next season is U10 they want a keeper. Have scouted all of Austria and Liam was chosen!! Proud Papa!!! He deserves it! This has all come from him loving the game from really young, always enjoyed being in goals but also from me, as his Dad taking the time to always be there when he wanted to play. So NB to Dads out there, always be available! Who knows what that little bit extra can create for our little champs!!! Here’s a recent combined clip of some his performances between 7-8 years old…I knew a long time ago but have been told he has the best technique of an 8 year old that has been seen for a long time…WOW WOW WOW! That came from Bundesliga coaches at a goalie camp recently… Please follow Liam @lfc.rolston on Instagram to see his progress. We have only had 5 private sessions with friend of mine who’s a pro keeper and wow the difference has been huge!! 5 such NB points that were taught has turned him into a new keeper!! And these are simple ones but would only know them through a proper GK trainer. Next level!! To all you goalies out there, never give up on your dreams, anything is possible if you set your mind to it and work towards it…picture it and never give up. Not just with football, with every single thing you do in your life, go for it!!! Big thanks to J4K for the gloves that gave him that bit extra!! Really worked!!

Firstly thank you to everyone for the wishes and support for Liam this weekend! It worked!! After 6/6 hard fought victories we faced Juventus in the last 16…as confident as we were we knew we were up against it…but the team gave it their all and created a few chances but unfortunately they were just too strong…but, 9th place out of 104 team is a huge achievement, especially considering that there were numerous Bundesliga teams there and AC Milan and Atletico!! What a tournament it was! Very proud of the team and my boy especially!!
