Mushroom Coffee?
Does anyone use mushroom coffee? If so what brands and have you noticed a difference?

I found some Ryze for cheap on Facebook Marketplace (check! so many people forget to cancel their subscriptions) but it fooled me: I didn't realize it was just powdered instant coffee with powdered dehydrated mushrooms. I don't drink coffee, so, oops! they definitely don't taste great (rather sour) unaltered, but with some maple syrup and cinnamon I started to get into the morning ritual of it. I'd say it's worth a shot if you can get it cheap, but don't get stuck with the subscription if you don't like it.
Keep going!!
I've been counting my calories and macros religiously, playing pickleball, walking, lifting weights. Week 1 I was #20 on the leaderboard. Week 2 I don't exist but Im still losing 1 to 2 pounds a week. I feel great(which is key) It's healthy. It's sustainable and I'm not hungry. I'm still enjoying life. I'm not expecting to be a big winner in this contest. I never did. It's hard to lose the last 15 which is where I am after a lot of hard work. I just needed this hive mind to get going. But I do notice very few women on the Leaderboard. Are there less of us signed up? Maybe. Men drop weight faster. Their metabolisms are just different. I think in the future, it's better to divide us into 2 groups for fairness. That's just my 2 cents. Having said that, it's pretty exciting to see so many people trying to do better for themselves. Keep going!

I’ve seen something similar. Years ago my mom did one of those Biggest Loser-type competitions (honestly pretty unhealthy overall, but that’s a tale for another day). She made top 4, then got knocked out one week basically because of normal cycle-related weight fluctuation. Same effort, just bad timing. So yeah, the leaderboard doesn’t always tell the whole story, especially across different bodies. What you’re doing sounds way more dialed in anyway. Losing 1-2 lbs a week, feeling good, not being miserable… that’s kind of the whole point. Most people at the top early on don’t keep that pace, and sustainably losing the weight means you're a lot less likely to rebound after the contest is over. You’re doing it the right way. I’d take that over a flashy leaderboard spot any day.
First official check in next Monday 4/13
Want to make sure you guys get at least a full week in before we begin the check-ins. Hope you had a good first couple of days and a happy Easter for those who celebrate. When we do check ins, I will share the instructions and form via email as well as on Skool so you can't miss it. For now, let's use this thread as your "unofficial check-in" for the week. How's everybody been doing?

Got my unused 2016 FitBit out and working. I hate wearing accessories but I know stats motivate me. Got a consistent bedtime and I've committed to only listening to my "pleasure" podcasts while biking or walking.
Monday accountability check in
I convinced my partner to play 9 holes of disc golf yesterday. We're not very good, so there were a lot of extra steps and cardio foraging in the leaf litter for our errant discs 😅 Nets just went up at our local outdoor courts and I'm on day 4 of the mobility challenge (in the Classroom tab if you haven't seen it yet). Nothing tangible to report from the scale, but I feel the rust of a sedentary, injured winter starting to flake off, and I'm leaving myself wanting more rather than my usual pattern of going hard and burning out. How are you all feeling?
👋 Introduce Yourself — Who's In?
The Lefty Reset starts April 1 and I want to know who I'm doing this with. Drop a comment below and introduce yourself. Tell us: 1. Your name and where you're from 2. How long you've been playing pickleball (or if you're just fitness-focused) 3. One thing you want to change in the next 60 days 4. Your DUPR rating (optional — no pressure!) 5. One fun fact about you! I'll go first. I'm Nico, based in Reno, NV. I've been playing pickleball for 3.5 years and coaching for 2. In the next 60 days I want to drop 30lbs and have more energy for my 1 year old daughter. Let's get it! Reply below 👇 and go comment on at least 2 other people's posts. This community wins together.

I don't have a DUPR but I'm around ~4.25 living in Burlington, VT. I've played May-Oct for 3 years, so however you math that math. this was my first paddle sport (previously, ultimate frisbee and volleyball were my sports) so it's been a huge adjustment but I got addicted quickly like everyone else. right now I'm dealing with two torn ligaments and a cyst in my left (primary) wrist, and tapering down from some PTSD meds that had me doing a lot of late night snacking over a depressingly sedentary winter. glad to be part of an accountability group and I hope we all come out of the other end of this healthier and with some consistency built into our habits.
