On Sunday I made my debut at the Pilot Field (home of Hastings United) at the grand age of 41. It's been about two decades since I played an 11 a side game. Most of my football time is spent coaching Dylan and his team. The majority of our team were middle aged dads who help out. The opposition were largely county level players in their twenties. It was never a game we'd win but we did incrediblely well. I was super busy but only three got past me. I absolutely loved it 💪🏻 I wore my J4K Shock Shield Elites and they didn't let me down despite the onslaught lol. (The third picture was a save 👌🏻)

Dylan made his debut for his school academy team on Friday and pulled off a string of fine saves as they beat their local rivals 3 2. He very nearly earnt an assist from one of his (what we call) Venom throws only for the striker to hit the post. He literally threw it box to box! This morning he was back between the sticks in his familiar purple Hollington Hawks kit as they walked away 4 1 winners to secure third place in the league. He started the day with a wrist support strapping him up, took a knee to the head and a boot to the chest as he worked hard to keep the opposition out. Did he stop?? No chance, walked away with a player of the match trophy. Built. Different. Those that know, know. All in his Triga 360s 👌🏻

Great first day at Butlins 4 games played 3 wins 1. 0-0 draw Only 2 goals conceded. 2 clean sheets We played against a jpl team and won 2-1 I made two last minute saves to ensure we won. Day 2 tomorrow

What a game! Playing the unbeaten league winners, Josh played out of his skin with some outstanding saves in the game we took them to penalties, again Josh saved 3 penalties but unfortunately we lost 5-4 on penalties, 1-1 at full time, so, so proud of him
