Hard truth 👉🏽 Counting members in the community you joined won’t get you closer to YOUR goals. Folks will leave YAMS AI Club. New members will join. Sometimes, I’ll have to remove a few bad apples. That comes with building a community. My priority is the quality of the experience and the members who are brave enough to participate. Members who want to learn, connect, contribute, and actually EXECUTE on what they’re learning. And someone leaving doesn’t automatically mean anything went wrong. Priorities change. Budgets change. People need different things at different times. That’s okay. But here’s something I want you to think about: If you’re constantly counting someone else’s members, watching who left, or comparing their pricing to yours… how much attention are you giving the reason YOU joined in the first place? You joined with a GOAL in mind. Maybe you wanted to build something. Turn your experience into an offer. Learn how to use AI beyond the basics. Finally execute an idea you’ve been sitting on. That goal deserves your attention. There’s value in learning how other people run their businesses. But when observation becomes a distraction and obsession, it’s time to shift your focus. Your next move deserves more energy than someone else’s member count or stacking up leaderboard ranking without executing on what you are learning. This connects directly to today’s affirmation: My dreams can grow in good company. I can ask questions, share what I know, and let others support me. Today, I choose connection over comparison and remember that we can rise together. ✨ There’s only two months left in the year so it’s time to shift your focus. A YAMS member was focused on selling a product—but hadn’t yet established whether people wanted it. Meanwhile, they were already making AI videos and enjoying it. A friend starting a business needed an ad, so they made one for her. Just a quick favor. No thought of charging. She posted it on her social media and got positive feedback. Then they shared what they’d made in YAMS. And I said… hold up. Don’t stop there. 🤭 You have someone who needed what you can create, used it, and got a positive response. This is a moment to ask for a testimonial. Then follow up: “Do you need more visuals for your brand?” They were receptive to the guidance. They followed up, put a price on the service… And made their first sale. 🎉 Now there’s a paid service to build on—and potentially an ongoing client, because a business may need more than one ad. That’s the opportunity I want y’all to see. We can get so focused on selling the thing we planned to sell that we overlook what someone is already showing us they need. Sometimes you need another set of eyes to say: “Pause. Look at what’s working right here.” That’s what I helped this member see. And they deserve their flowers for being willing to reassess and act on it. 🧡 What comes naturally to you that someone else keeps asking for help with? Share it.
