šŸ‘‹ Monday check-in
As this new week begins, what’s one small thing you want to protect this week? (Time, energy, patience, quiet, joy — all count šŸ’›)

I want to protect my annual women's gathering. I still have to work some remotely, but want to make sure I work efficiently in the early morning and night, so that I can focus and be fully present during the day with them.
A Monday post on Tuesday :) OOOPS
As we start a new week, I’m curious —what’s one thing you’re hoping feels a little easier this week? Big or small answers welcome šŸ’›

This week, my mornings have been more centered and focused. Making sure I have quiet meditation time helps set the tone for the rest of the day.
🌿 Gentle routine reminder
If routines feel hard right now, try changing just one small piece instead of the whole day. One board. One transition. One moment. Small shifts often bring the biggest calm. ā¤ļø

I like that, and it is so true! It reminds me of the famous quote: "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step."

I struggle the most with transitions. I get distracted during the time between activities and can easily squirrel away too much time before refocusing.
Spinning & Weaving Tools for Schools Grant Application
I just saw this Grant offering and thought I would share. It looks like an amazing opportunity to bring some quality weaving equipment into your classroom, providing an opportunity for differentiated learning across all subject areas. The annual Tools for Schools Grant provides up to $3,000 worth of Schacht equipment to schools and 501(c)(3) organizations. Applicants can request any spinning or weaving equipment they offer. If you or someone you know is interested, click the link below to learn more, review the guidelines, and submit an application. Applications are due March 1. https://schachtspindle.com/pages/tools-for-schools-application-form?fbclid=IwY2xjawPM5gVleHRuA2FlbQIxMABicmlkETEwTnk0MmIxTVhRVGpQcjNhc3J0YwZhcHBfaWQQMjIyMDM5MTc4ODIwMDg5MgABHjphniXU3f_GuicczXuPqLOEWEOvlBOnREMI4FJsnXl1sRWHB7Ejkk7ulXPm_aem_9TB-jXTspcjSwBAy391_Wg Spinning and weaving are powerful tools forĀ differentiated learningĀ because they naturally engageĀ multiple learning styles, abilities, and intelligencesĀ at the same time. They are especially effective in inclusive classrooms where students learn in different ways and at different paces. Spinning and weaving integrateĀ hands-on, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning. These fiber arts naturally blend academics with creative practice, integrating math, science, social studies, language arts, and art. This allows teachers to differentiate by subject focus while using the same activity. Spinning and weaving encourage self-paced learning and rewardĀ process over speed. This is especially supportive for students with learning differences, anxiety, or perfectionism. Fiber arts strengthen skills many students struggle with: - Planning and sequencing - Sustained attention - Fine motor control - Problem-solving - Persistence
