The Month the Fairies Moved In - First Builds & Behind the Scenes
Sorry for no updates over the last few days. We were very busy creating for The Month the Fairies Moved In. It has been much more work than I thought - especially because it is not only building, but also filming, taking pictures, editing, and creating content around everything. But it has also been a very good time. My friend from Switzerland joined me for this project, and he will help with the pictures so I can focus more on the building. Here are the first impressions from what we created so far: a little fairy feasting table inside a tree. We are currently also working on a library installation inside a tree, made mostly from natural materials. Let me know if you have any questions, or if there is anything specific you would like me to share here during the month.

Oh my!! What a gift you are creating!!! It’s a lot of work and I fully understand how much time it involves. Thank you so much for keeping us updated.
Working on a new fairy house
So I've just started working on a new fairy house. I'll share pictures/ideas along the way. My fairy houses always start with walks in the woods. I'm lucky to live near several state parks. I always bring a shopping bag with me...and sometimes my saws-all. And I collect stuff. It's helpful to have a lot of stuff on hand--interesting pieces of wood, tree roots. Here's my stock pile, as well as a piece I found in the woods yesterday that might make the basis of a roof.

Thank you so much for your inspiration!!!!
Day 1 of the month the fairies moved in is now live.
It would mean a lot if you could help give it a little push. If you use Facebook, please like, comment, or share the Reel there. If you don’t use Facebook, Instagram is also perfect. This helps show the algorithm that this is relevant for fairy house builders, so more people who love building tiny magical worlds can discover it and maybe join us here in the community. Thank you so much for helping Fairyland grow. Tried Facebook but was unsuccessful, kept taking me to other pages when I clicked on the link. Although I do share on instagram
Spider webs?
Hi fellow makers! I’d love your tips on adding some spider web whimsy to your projects. I’ve tried with hot glue, but not very successfully. I’m talking about proper spider web with shape, not the blown cobweb type. For my last project I ended up just stealing some real web, which I love. But it’s not always accessible! It’s really hard to see in the photo, but I caught it in the branch..

@Carissa England that is such a great idea!! I keep thinking outside projects, but this opens a whole other dimension.
New here
Just starting out, brand new here. Gathering sticks of all different shapes and sizes, along with other materials. Looking forward to the classes offered and building community.
