Bus post
Hello everyone! I am sitting in the bus, surrounded by many people who are looking at their phones. Sadly, I forgot my book at home! Without my book to read, I thought I would try writing something here. So here I am, with my first public transport post, practicing my poor English🙂 If I had my book, I would be lost in someone else's story, but now I am making my own. Have a great day, whether you are on a bus, a train, or reading a book!🙂

I'm Kevin, I automate stuff! 🤖
I’m Kevin, originally from France 🇫🇷 but now living in Canada, with my amazing wife and two kids. I love traveling, skiing, coffee, and using automation to simplify life. I run Afford Free Time, a community where I help small business owners save time for what matters most—whether that’s focusing on growing their business or spending more time with family. I also run Automation Lab where I provide additional help and support on automation. My mission is simple: help business owners stop wasting time on tedious/boring tasks and free them up to focus on money-making activities—or just enjoy more of life outside of work. I met Jakub here on Skool in one of the various Skool communities we are both a member ^^ Excited to connect with you all and share what I’ve learned along the way!

I found this quote yesterday. Am just looking at the words… How cool would it be, if we could all find it and share it!

Build genuine relationships challenge
Hello everyone! 😊 I have a weekly challenge for us that can help us heal and strengthen our relationships. First part of the challenge: Buy two tickets to a theater, cinema, or concert and invite someone you've never met before, maybe someone on the street. It's a great opportunity to open up to new experiences and unexpected encounters. Second part of the challenge: Choose someone in your life with whom you have an unresolved relationship. Invite them for a coffee or tea and sincerely tell them: "I love you, with all your strengths and flaws, thank you for being you. This challenge may be difficult for some of us, but I believe that openness and honesty can bring amazing results. After a week, come back to our group and share your emotions and stories about what happened. I already completed the second task yesterday when I met with a friend with whom we had not ended our relationship on the best terms two years ago due to our communication. Yesterday, we worked quite well together on her off-the-grid property, where I helped her in the garden. I also tried baking banana nut cookies. They weren't bad. Who's in? 😄💬

Good morning everyone! In response to Jakub's challenge, I did something similar about two weeks ago. Something similar – because it wasn’t about a completely unknown person. After twenty years, an old classmate from high school reached out to me to wish me well on my name day. We’re connected on Facebook and are aware of each other, but we haven’t seen each other since graduation and have communicated minimally; even in school, we mostly passed each other by. Now we started chatting, and it turned out that I invited her for coffee (with no ulterior motives :-) ). We had a wonderful evening, talking for hours. It looks like the beginning of an amazing friendship. What we’ve put off for 20 years, we can now beautifully catch up on. :-)

Blog - a relic of the past or the future?
Hello everyone, I would like to hear your opinion on the following matter. For our project, we are preparing a new website and are considering whether to include a blog or not. Many people say that blogs are no longer read these days; however, what is your opinion? I can imagine building a community around our project here on Skool and using Skool as a blog, while keeping the website only as an informational channel. On the other hand, why not go against the grain and do something differently? :-) What do you think? How would you approach it? I'll mention that our project focuses on development—both from a professional and personal perspective. We are a group of trainers, mentors, and coaches who help others grow. Thank you for your thoughts, take care! :-)
