Wins
Gotta give God all the Glory!!! Just won my first 5 year LCD for a little over $1,000,000. It wasn't posted, officers contacted me directly and asked me to submit a quote and that was it. Praise God!!!

Did you ever supply that particular part to the DLA before? Congrats again.
Just Won my First Contract! But nervous about traceability...
Hi everyone! I just got awarded my first DLA contract, and while I’m excited, I also have nervous butterflies about my traceability. I could really use some guidance. The award is for NSN 4510-00-757-4095, and the approved source is listed as "CR/PL LLC 77378 P/N 354020" with description "STEM ASSY, FAUCET". When I was sourcing quotes, everything pointed toward Crane Plumbing as the manufacturer for this part. I thought CR/PL LLC was a subsidiary of Crane Plumbing. I’m confident this is a Crane Plumbing part, but I'm not sure what CR/PL LLC is and don't think I'll be able to get traceability back to them. The contracting officer didn’t ask me for any traceability documentation prior to award, and now I’m worried I may not be able to get bulletproof documentation linking the part to the approved source (CR/PL LLC). I'm getting the part through a dealer, but I suspect they sourced it from Crane (I hope), not CR/PL LLC. My questions: - Is it ever acceptable to fulfill a contract with the exact part, but from a non-approved source? I.e., does my source matter so long as I can prove that this is a legit Crane Plumbing part? - Should I reach out to the contracting officer now to proactively disclose the situation, or would that create unnecessary risk? - Any tips for how I can best avoid this situation in the future? I've generally been focusing more on finding the part and not worrying as much about the source. Any insight from those who’ve been through this would be greatly appreciated! I want to do this right and avoid messing up my first opportunity. Thanks in advance!

@Jarett Cestaro CR/PL, L.L.C is doing business as Crane Plumbing. They are the same. Any traceability of Crane Plumbing for the part is acceptable. Don’t need to worry

@Jarett Cestaro It does not matter if you are not sourcing directly from the approved source, but from a distributor. If the part is manufactured by CR/PL or Crane plumbing, you are good to go
Mil- STD-129
Can someone help me? How do print Mil-STD-129 labels from VSM with a Zebra printer in a way it prints each unit label individually? For example, VSM puts 10 labels on one page. How do you get the printer to print just one label instead of all 10 on one label

@Niki Green There are 10 duplicate labels on one page. I am using Zebra ZD 421 printer.

Thank you @Niki Green
Awards Disappeared on DIBBS
Has anyone else experienced this? So far I’ve won 15 awards but after checking my past Awards on DIBBS, it states I’ve only won 10 awards. Has this happened to anyone else? I keep digital and physical copies of all my award letters so this is not adding up.

@Rudy Cadena @Cal F. It started in January of this year. I reached out to DLA, and they told me that they remove 3 month old awarded contracts in the system. Currently, half of mine is not showing on DIBBS.
Supplier No Bid Response
Hello Fam, How do you usually handle situations where an approved source declines to provide a quote? For example, I received this response: "Thank you for your inquiry. The part numbers listed below have been discontinued. Mercury Systems will be submitting a No Bid for this inquiry.

@Arnold Ntow I would move on to the next solicitation or different part.
