So this week marks the first week I’ve posted daily, 6 videos and one picture post. One of my videos is one of my best performing as well, my YT is slowly growing the shorts are flying and the long form is slowly and I mean slowly growing a few views here and there but I’m on week 4 of a weekly upload now. When I look back I’d never believe I could put all this together, the speed I have created is amazing me! Today I had 30 minutes free and I wanted a video out, so I filmed what I needed straight on the laptop and edited it all in 30 mins job done!

This week I randomly got asked by a friend to do photo/video for his proposal. I have NEVER done anything like this. It was indoors, I didn’t have control over the lighting, and there was no “retakes”. I was anxious as hell but I wanted to challenge myself and the pressure of the moment also motivated me to try to be my best. Butttt that’s not what happened. Things moved fast. It was just me trying to get photo AND video in this moment and I felt like I completely butchered the opportunity. Now, I DID do my best in that moment and I made sure to be super critical in my editing. I just knew my friend was going to be disappointed but something unexpected happened. The work I thought I absolutely butchered brought him and his fiance to tears. They were so happy and grateful. Something I was not expecting at all. Now I know if I put that work in a room of creators, all of you will find something to critique, but we don’t usually work for creators. I say that because many of us second guess our work, not realizing that we are good enough to be paid for this. We may not be the best in our field, but it doesn’t mean that we can’t bring value through our expertise thus far. Keep growing. Keep grinding team!

This weekend I spent it praticing with my camera and filming random things just to get better. I shot this in S-Cinetone just to try and focus on the lighting part. My framing could have been a lot better on this shot but that's something I'll fix on the next piece of content I film. I moved the couch away from the wall to create some kind of depth. This week I plan on messing around with higgsfield to see what I can come up with after learning about it last week on the call.

after playing about with some AI effects and seeing what could fit, I finally found something that just made sense to me. I’m using it as a hook, something a little different in the fitness niche! I will see how it performs and keep my eye out for anymore that I can use, I would like to start using 1 per week to start with so it fits in to my posting schedule of educational posts, value, and awareness posts.
