Welcome to Shieldwall 🛡
A big welcome to our three newest members, @Patrick Scott @Thomas Dvorak and @Ryven Falces You don’t need to arrive fit, confident or full of motivation. Start where you are, build some good habits and keep showing up. This is a place for men to improve themselves and back each other. Your first steps: ✅ Head to the pinned introduction post and leave a comment telling us a little about yourself and what you want to achieve. ✅ Open the Classroom and check out the free Tier 3 12-week Reset course. That’s your starting point for building consistency. ✅ Get involved. Ask questions, share your progress and encourage the other lads. You don’t have to wait until you’ve got a big result to post. You’ve taken the first step by joining. Let’s build on it. Welcome to the Wall. 🛡️

Welcome.
THIS IS WHAT YOU’RE WORKING TOWARDS. 🛡️
It’s all very well throwing weights around the gym, grunting the loudest and making sure everyone knows what you can lift. But what can you do with that strength outside the gym? Can you carry a load over distance, move your own body and keep going when you’re tired? Build strength you can use. Build the endurance to back it up. Every Shield Wall programme builds on the one before it: 🛡️ Tier 3 — The FREE 12-Week Reset: build your habits, fitness and foundations. 🔴 Tier 2 — Operator: develop your strength and endurance as you work towards the Shield Wall 300. 🟡 Tier 1 — Elite: the next level, building towards the Shield Wall 600. ⚔️ Beyond Elite — Hero Tier: further challenges to aspire to, with weighted vests entering the mix. You don’t need to be ready for Elite today. Start where you are, earn your progress and build from there. Be the quiet bloke who puts the work in. The one people can depend on. The most capable in the room, without needing to be the loudest. This is where we’re heading. One session at a time. Shield Wall Tactical Fitness. Mind First, Body Follows.

Strong start. 👏
Week 12(+2) check in
Morning, I did it. It took me 14 weeks rather than 12 due to a few issues around week 11. The pull ups were the bit I found most challenging. I couldn't do one at the start. Not bad for a 52 year old. Onwards and upwards.

WHAT’S YOUR ONE WIN THIS WEEK? 🛡️
Men, what’s one thing you’ve done this week that you’re pleased with? Got your training done? Went for a ruck when you couldn’t be arsed? Finally started the Reset? Or had a rough week and still managed to do something for yourself? It doesn’t have to be impressive. It just has to matter to you. Drop your win below, even if you’ve never posted before. And if you see someone making progress, give them a bit of support. Mind First. Body Follows.

I've been struggling to get out of bed at a time to allow me to run in the mornings. (Work is a bit grim, sleep disrupted as a result. I've shifted my focus on some strength work in the gym at lunch time. Managed to get one run and two rucks. Not as long as I planned, but better than none.
