The First 11 Seconds
In the 1st 7 seconds in transition the objective is to get a 9 or bomb. If not, then we are space, structured, n aligned. Then we hunt 9s n 7s. The player with the ball hunts 9s everyone else space. To create space we have to get our players to understand single n double gaps n our cutting principles. I love advantage cuts. My question is in the first 11 seconds in transition is this the time to get right into Rose? They are cuts that create space. Am I over thinking this?
Starting Practice
I'm rethinking how I open practice. Right now we start slow — warmup, some individual work, then build up to live reps toward the middle/end. I'm considering flipping that: open with short, fast small-sided scrimmages (4v4) right out of the gate, before any teaching, specifically to set the tone for pace and urgency from minute one. The idea is that if "play fast, play with urgency" is something I want baked into their identity, starting practice that way every day reinforces it more than talking about it or easing into it. But I also don't want to burn them out physically/mentally before we get to teaching new stuff, or have sloppy habits get reps before I've had a chance to coach anything. Has anyone structured practice this way — competitive/live reps first, teaching second? How did it affect focus and execution later in practice?

Actions vs Neutral
What are some of your favorite actions to create an advantage and get into dominos? I have found that my teams generally are pretty good at using an advantage when we get it, but we have trouble creating one and we get very stagnant vs neutral. Apologies if I missed a thread on this already.
