OG pump doesn’t over feed the system, so it holds together… just my new hypothesis

6.7 balancer
Anyone have a spare harmonic balancer for a 6.7? I'm located in ontario. Will pay to ship.

You could lab rat this for us, which has been discussed previously on this app. Not sure anyone has used it on their Cummins powered vehicles, but I have one on my VW TDI and I like it in conjunction with my Single mass flywheel. I’m not sure the Cummins makeup, but the VW had a rubber two piece design from factory, which was prone to delamination… anyhow, I had the transmission out, so it was a while I’m in there mod

@Eric Fuller is yeah using the Fluidampr on a Dodge, or any Cummins to see how well it mellows the NVH
Just watched “things are changing ,” vid…
I can’t believe the size of your shop! Gaza lot of trusses! Beast mode! Keep up the great work!
Back to basics I guess for now
Big Red pulling strong. Torktek OFV adjusted to 28ish PSI idle. Stock lift pump. 3k springs 055 DV’s . Stock pump held up properly to WOT tests. Probably leave er’ there. Now to move on to the aux transmission cooler fan. Been on hiatus from this project for a few weeks.

I’m seeing about 12 sec 0-60… started this project around 18. 47re trans and dual rears on a club cab.
Back to Big Red; lift pump question
I have the comp cam 971 spring ready to go in. I am reusing the OG pump, which looks quite different than the two replacements I destroyed on the first 5 minutes of test drive. The comp cam spring is significantly shorter than stock. Is this ok to use?

@Robert Winkworth interested to see if your pumps like the ones that keep breaking have a pushrod length like the PDD or my OG pump.

Clearly the designs of each pump are different.
