@Max Bolotov it certainly creates the tone, this is not my style but what I would personally do is to drown it in more reverb and FX in general, since then orchestration is very stripped down so the more minimalistic you go the more you can afford FXs. And I would also add some slight variation in the texture or background to counterbalance the repetitiveness of the main theme

Best places to get feedback on cinematic music?
Hey all, I'm working full time but when I have time I'm producing cinematic music. However outside of this community I dont really have friends or other groups of folks that I can bounce tracks off of. All my other friends produce different kinds of music and/or aren't interested in what im doing HA. Anyways, do you guys have a good place for getting feedback on cinematic tracks you're working on by other professionals or folks in similar genre? Thanks so much, also interested in hearing other peoples WIP tracks.

If you are a Taxi.com member they have custom reviews and they go pretty in-depth, especially if you give them topics to address. The fee is 20$ per track, which I think is a very good price.

Hi! Valhalla VintageVerb :)
Favourite Piano VSTs?
Hi Everyone and Happy New Year! Just wondering what some of your favourite realistic-sounding Piano VSTs are? My go-to in trailer tracks is the Felt Piano from Spitfire's Olafur Arnalds Toolkit, but I need something a little less soft for a project I'm working on. I've been using Addictive Keys from XLN Audio for years in personal projects, but I'm not sure it quite has the realism I want/need for this professional project. Though interested if anyone disagrees! Let me know your thoughts! I'm hoping not to break the bank on another piano, but I'd love to have something that sounds super realistic to slot into my wider instrument collection (Nucleus, Metropolis Ark, Damage 2, Gravity etc) Thanks all!

@Clemens Hackmack yes indeed, that's why I'm neither a pianist nor a guitarist, nor anything specific in general :) every time I set as a goal to go back to properly learn an instrument I get side tracked by my composition process and end up saying to myself "nah I know enough to allow me to compose for now", this is an endless my loop honestly...

I'm just someone that just came back to the Music Library business after a decade, looking to align to the current industry standards. Cheers!
