70 years old and on SS and Medicaid. Recently discovered I'm the beneficiary of a small term life insurance policy of someone who recently passed away. I've left message for caseworker but nobody gets back to me. I need to know the correct way and timing I should report this in order to stay in compliance with Medicaid rules. Do you know if I should turn in the paperwork to the insurance company before notifying Medicaid or after I receive the payout? Thanks for any info.

Hello everyone! At the time was 62 and unemployed. The agent at the SSA told me to take my retirement since I was not working. Well I did, and they automatically place me on SSI. She didn’t tell me that my checks would be less. If she had told me that I would not have taken it then! Now, I’m 69 and want out of SSI want to receive more pay. So, what should I do? I want to start a side hustle to able to when I want to. Please help!
