Congratulations!
You will never know how you touched someone!
Today I noticed a new Amazon review. I went to check it out. It was from a client I did work 17 years ago. I kept her in my newsletter list. She never replies. You may only wonder who reads what you have to say...Apparently, people do and you won't know what kind of impact on someone's life you did until they decide to share it.

Advice for Publishing Biography
I’m getting ready to publish my first biography, which tells my dad’s story, and I’d love some advice from this group on planning the rollout. I’ve published other books (just published my 13th title), but this is my first biography, and it’s a very personal project. Much of the nonfiction launch advice I’ve encountered focuses on teaching a skill or solving a specific problem. I’m curious how you approach finding readers and building interest when the book centers on someone’s life, experiences, and legacy. For those who have published biographies or memoirs, what worked for you? Were local media, community connections, podcasts, or speaking events especially helpful? How did you reach readers beyond the people who already knew the subject? I’d appreciate any advice on launch strategy, early reviews, or things you wish you’d done before publication. I want to honor my dad’s story while giving the book its best chance to connect with readers. Thanks! Jeff

@Rob Cole I’m trying to polish up my summary of my memoir book to streamline searches toward my book. I’m sharing for a second view look.
Gaining speaking opportunities
Many people say that writing a book is your magic ticket into automatic authority and speaking gigs. I haven't found that to be true. What else might I be missing? I'm trying to pitch the best I can.

@Jenny Hambly I agree Jenny. However I have to admit being an educator I go for the book and use the video/podcast as supplement to the book information. Marilyn
