[REPLAY] Annie: House and Pet Sitter, Consultant and Author Interview
Hi friends, You can find the REPLAY and a RECAP of Annie McCormick's interview HERE. Annie is an international house and pet sitter, consultant and published author who has been nomadic for 3+ years. It was such a great conversation that covered topics from: >> Traveling the world at virtually no cost >> "Just try it and see" attitude about this non-traditional lifestyle in the 3rd Act >> Housesitting as the means to achieve Annies lifelong dream to travel and write >> Loving the freedom that comes from NOT having a home base or the responsibility of homeowernship. >> And, much more... Oh, and Annie is a published author with a lot of expertise in writing and publishing. I'll invite her back to discuss that specifically. For now, enjoy the conversation HERE. Cheers, Colleen

I would never have had the nerve to speak to the Property Brothers in person, but I had a blast posing with their cardboard copies. The staff at Kohl's likely were watching because I circled back to tell the Bros goodbye, and they were gone. Not taking myself too seriously should be #1 on my list because it helps me conquer the rest of my day.
Poll: Help me build our Possibilities Lab
I am fleshing out The Possibilities Lab - our library of 3rd Act inspiration. I want to make sure I’m finding the stories you actually want to hear. I’m looking for real women making real transitions. Not celebrities, but people like us who have reinvented their work, their hobbies, or their entire lifestyle. I already have a substantial list to invite, but want your input. 1️⃣Vote below on which category you are MOST curious about RIGHT NOW 2️⃣Then, drop a comment if you have a specific niche /topic (e.g., "someone who started a bakery") or even a specific person I should stalk (in a friendly way) on social media. I'm not shy.😉

I also favor The Freedom and Lifestyle Architect. Clearing my home clears my mind and lifts me to "happy".
QOTD: What's ONE thing you're absolutely great at?
Question of The Day - name (at least) ONE thing you know you're great at? It's a source of pride and joy. Women are taught to be humble, to not 'brag' and to downplay what we're good at. This leads to making our own skills and talent feel less valuable. Not in here, ladies. In The 3rd Act Lab we're owning ourselves.

I'm good at transforming or refreshing living spaces, closets, shelves, etc. from messy or ignored into organized, fun, lovely. I enjoy the challenge of fixing or repurposing things already there, spending as little as possible.

Hi, I'm Margit. I live in North Florida, am married with no children, turned 65 this year. I work as a technician on a Navy base and it's hard to head in to work while my husband gets to enjoy retirement. Months ago, I was making real progress on my digital product. Then I got sidetracked by Medicare , health appointments, home insurance...things that ate up my time. I'm ready now to refocus and complete the digital product and learn AI to start with. I'm happy to be here! Thank you, Colleen, for creating this terrific group.

Hello Beth, I’m very sorry to hear about your husband and your illness. I agree with Colleen that this community is a perfect place to refocus, redefine our possibilities and be supported as we move forward.
