Many of you know that I have been plugging away at reducing the unread emails in all my email boxes. Well now I can say that I have 4 email boxes all at zero unread emails...hooray! what a weight has been lifted....over 20,000 deleted in total and I am keeping them all under 10 so far. It's so important for me to finish things...I have always said "I'm a good starter but a hopeless finisher" until I joined this community and started the challenge. Now I can claim the phrase "I finish what I start" 😍

The mirror principle just clicked. I realized I thrift constantly because I'm "always wanting to find the value in something that somebody else has discarded" - and that's exactly what I'm hoping someone will do for me. That insight while difficult to face is a win for me. Since starting this journey, I have begun to feel better about myself and my future than I have felt in a very long time.

Confirmation that the voice in my head telling me I'm useless was never all mine - it belongs to people who bullied me. And the kicker: I completed a top-level creative course during the worst period of my life. Turns out the story I tell about myself and the evidence I've actually lived don't match at all. It's stuff I know but seeing it written in that way puts a different spin on it, enables me to be the witness to it rather than embroiled in it - it's only a story!
