Hey Hey Ha Ho
This is my version of the rythm: "Hey Hey Ha Ho" in the course. Curious to your opinion.

@David Zencominierski Yes it works and the more you practise the better it sounds :-) What ever I try to do I don't get that popping sound. I tried with my full tongue to the upperpalate only the tip to the upper palate or even tip of the tongue to the front teeth. I can't make that sound. Maybe the key is with pressing the lips harder but then the drone doesn't sound good anymore.

@David Zencominierski Going to try that one. Keep you informed!
Serious Health Benefits
When was the last time you practised playing the didgeridoo? Did you know that playing regularly has lots of amazing health benefits? Here are some of them: 1. Improved breathing capacity. Playing the didgeridoo trains deep diaphragmatic breathing and breath control, which can improve lung function and overall breathing awareness over time. 2. Stress reduction & nervous system regulation. The deep drone and rhythmic breathing patterns can help calm the nervous system, lower stress levels, and bring the body into a more grounded, meditative state. 3. Better sleep & reduced snoring. Research has shown that regular didgeridoo practice may help strengthen airway muscles and reduce symptoms of snoring and mild sleep apnea. Keep practising and don't forget to join us for the next free practice + Q&A on Zoom.

I just send your message to somebody from my yogaclass she got surgery and parts of her lung was taken of. She is quickly exhausted. Maybe the didgeridoo will help her. Thanks for reminding me!

I will be there! But is Zoom the right medium for us? Since Zoom considers the sound of the didgeridoo as noise?

Yes I also liked it and learned also a lot. I know now where to concentrate on for the coming 2 weeks. I will try to record something and post it over here...
Zoom problems.
Here is some information about the problems we experienced with Zoom, generated with the help of ChatGPT: It seems that Zoom is suppressing the sound of the didgeridoo. From what I’ve learned, this actually makes sense: Zoom is designed to prioritize speech and filter out what it considers background noise. Because the didgeridoo produces low-frequency drones and complex overtones, the software often misinterprets it as noise and suppresses or distorts it. Possible solution in Zoom:You can improve this by enabling Original Sound and adjusting the audio settings: 1. Go to Settings → Audio 2. Click Advanced 3. Set: 4. Enable: During the meeting: - Click “Turn on Original Sound” (top left) Additional tips: - Enable High fidelity music mode for better sound quality - Disable “Automatically adjust microphone volume” - Use an external microphone if possible Alternatives (better for music):Zoom is not really designed for real-time music collaboration, especially with instruments like the didgeridoo. You might get better results with: - Jamulus — designed specifically for low-latency online jamming - Cleanfeed — high-quality audio streaming in the browser - Discord — can work surprisingly well with the right audio settings These platforms handle continuous sound and musical dynamics much better than Zoom. Hope this helps so we can actually hear each other next time 🙂
