Should I Upload Shorts or No?
I have just started and am growing my self improvement focused channel. I want to use that channel to educate, inspire, and help my "past self" solve super niche and specific self improvement problems. I want to gather a high quality audience. I'd rather the audience size be small and the quality be high. I'm currently uploading 2 long form videos a week and am taking clips from those long form to then create 5 short form videos to upload. Ive only uploaded 2 long form videos on my channel so far and 3 long form. The long form are not doing well but the short form have gathered a couple thousand views already. But, for my current goals, I don't think its worth me posting shorts to gather viewers because of the lack of quality. So, my question is, should I be uploading shorts along side my long form content to attract the audience or should I only be trying to reach people through long form?

So I’m stuck between two big goals: getting healthy/losing weight and becoming a full-time video editor. Whenever I focus on fitness, I have no energy left for editing. And when I focus on editing, I completely slack on my health. Should I prioritize one fully, or is there a way to balance both without burning out?

Don't try to balance both. It's not about burnout, its about quality and obsession. It's better to got 100% on 1 goal rather than going 80%/80% on 2. Trust me, I made a full post about why not too long ago. In terms or which one, that's up to which one you want more. Ask yourself boss, these are your goals.
Don't make this mistake when goal setting.
Okay, so I made this mistake when setting goals myself, and I just wanted to share it so that none of you make the same mistake that I have. I'm not going to go into some goal setting framework or anything like that, but rather, it's going to come down to the number of goals that you set. So, on my whiteboard I've written down two goals, and I know people like to set a bunch of different goals and don't end up achieving them, but some of us who are serious about the goals they set, we actually want to achieve them and we work towards them every single day and we use them like the North Star that we're supposed to, you know, why we set goals and stuff. The main issue that I'm facing is that I've set two goals, one related to business and one related to my health. But what's happening is that with my goals, I'm going all in on them. Like from the moment I wake up, the only thing I'm thinking about is my business goal and I just want to work towards that business goal and I want to be prioritizing every second towards it. But because I also have that health goal, I'm having to split my attention up. This only really applies to people who are actually disciplined enough to set a goal and then follow it and see it all the way through. So it might not even apply to you, you might not even be facing this problem. But I'm having to choose between the two goals at this moment, even though they're completely unrelated in a sense. So if you're a person who's serious about their goals, only have one, and go 100% in on that one. Because currently, I'm having to go 80% and 80% for both. I'm not able to go that complete 100% because I'm not able to allocate 100% of my thinking and time towards the business goal. Obviously, I'm going to see both goals through. I'm going to achieve them both. But if you want to optimize your goal setting, and if you want to optimize your achievements, I recommend you set one goal only, and go all in on that.
