📅 Daily Check-in - May 31, 2026 💭 Reflection: "I've just been chatting with Sage about values and living my life by them and I mentioned that I haven't been checking in or getting involved in the discussions in the cohort on school and I put that down to my ADHD kicking in, you know, losing interest, boredom all of that and Sage suggested that's got nothing to do with ADHD and has got more to do with what matters to me and what might be performative. That's something I'm going to have to sit with. Finishing things....
I know it's not my specialty yet .... but I'm getting so much better at it... Finishing things... I closed so many open loops this morning, many of them not eveb started by myself I have to say!!! My kids are great at starting things and half way through they start a new thing.... We're did they learn that trick 😂😂 The self reflection as a mom is inspiring ✨️ 💖 and irritating at the same time😂😂😂 Sounds familiar?

Hearing something or seeing something makes a difference
Hi everyone, sometimes when I see an explanation..... in a picture kind of way.... it clicks so much deeper then when I hear it or read about it... Does anyone else have this? In the Q&A Jim showed us a grafic of how our dopamine spikes, after looking at your phone in the morning.... and that after a short while you're dopamine would drop again.... below your baseline.... I really believe that I've heard this many times.... But seeing 👀 it and really looking at it.... Just made it click on a deeper level.

I'm not at all visual. I have trouble even visualing an everyday object unless it's in front of me!

📅 Daily Check-in - May 31, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Wow. It's been a full on day where the 3-minute Come Back protocol was developed. I felt emotionally drained as things that were buried for years and years finally started resurfacing again (although they do surface from time to time usually to ruminate over and create a spiral downwards). I had quality family time with my brother and two of his three sons where we shared a few laughs which lit me up and my soul truly felt rejuvenated again. Gone well past my bedtime but that's ok. Tomorrow is going to be another day and I wont focus on the severe weather warnings around the place - I'm going to make the most of my inside time.
