"How much do you charge per project?"
Heyy today I just want to be very raw and real and share my experience based on the clients I've acquired specifically, why automation systems fail First of all, what you need to understand is this, people don't get that there are two types of clients I keep running into. The first one thinks AI is cheap or even free. The second one thinks AI is way too expensive and completely denies it. The problem comes down to the same path. Everyone is denying it And what they need to understand is this: "it's not a plug-and-play system" That's why it's not cheap or expensive it's a service. That's why we're calling it an automation 'agency' People ask me, "How much do you charge?" I mean, if I don't know the numbers, if I don't know the data, if I don't know anything about what I'm working with, I cannot give you a summary of what I'll charge. It will either be overpriced or underpriced, and the project won't be done properly. So yeah, that's a big problem I see everywhere. People tend to think, "OK, just give me a price. Just give me a quick average price." AAaahhhhh But what they need to understand is that's not how this works. It works based on 'how' you're going to solve the problem, what it's going to cost, what tools you need and what systems I need to build Let me give you an example If a restaurant is handling thousands of calls a day and I'm building an AI voice agent for them, versus another restaurant handling 500 calls per day that's a totally different game. The numbers might both seem huge, but they're still different. So the bill is not going to be the same. The cost is not going to be the same

@Faaz KhanYes, totally. There are SaaS products and services that could follow a tiered format, where the first tier costs a certain amount, the second tier costs more, and the third tier costs even more. That’s how it usually works. Even if I create something as a one-time set for the tier list, I could still make something great and charge accordingly. Of course, every agency and business is different, so in some cases, we might need to charge more or less

Designed these app store assets myself on Figma. Have limited designing knowledge. How would you rate these out of ten? Note that I did not use some fancy designs like curved or rotated iPhone frames. I think simple designs like these have better readability.

How do I find clients with 2 automations built?
Hello everyone! I need help when it comes to finding clients for my automation work. I have finished 2 automations so far, a simple RAG chatbot and a dental lead management system. Here's how the dental lead system works: Tally webhook entry, Lead deduplication(checks Google Sheets so the same patient doesn't get processed twice), AI classifies the inquiry then reads Google Sheets FAQ and sends an email back to the patient, Telegram message to the clinic if the case is an emergency, CRM logging, automated follow ups I'm not sure how do I find the right clients for this and if these 2 automations are enough so I can start reaching out to businesses. Does anybody have any tips?

I suggest not worrying so much about automation and bills, and instead start connecting with people. Once you do, you’ll realize the game changes completely because sales is the most crucial part

Are AI receptionists really a thing?
I'm in Australia and I've talked with some business owner and also customers and they told me that people hate AI receptionist, that if a customer call a business and an AI answer the phone they'll hang up.

If it’s not built right, don’t blame the technology
Costs
So I have have a question about costs. I am farely new to learning AI and have been researching and reading and watching tons of information. I have a client with a shopify store that has some pain points with having to manually update spreadsheets so I am working on building a workflow for her but im stuck on which platform to use. Make, Napier, Claude? My client is still small and I am still learning and they know this but the client wants to try to use the software that doesn't cost her alot to run. But with the API costs and other costs Im just wandering if anyone has any advice? Thanks and have a blessed day.. I am going to learn this there is just like information overload and my cuz told me about this platform and so trying to find ppl that have been thru this..

You’re overthinking the tools a bit. Your problem is simple. Move data from Shopify to a spreadsheet. Start with Make. It’s cheaper than Zapier for most workflows and easier to learn visually. Also, you probably don’t need AI like Claude for this. Only use AI if you need decision making not just moving data Get one simple workflow working first. That’s what matters right now
