I'm a university lecturer and researcher based in Sweden, and I’ve just started a YouTube channel under my own name as one of several ways to gradually move toward a more flexible, sustainable, and meaningful life. The channel will mainly be in Swedish, and focus on my own experience and reflection on sustainable academic work – teaching, supervision, research life, AI as a support tool, recovery after burnout, and navigating academia as a neurodivergent professional. My goal is to support and inspire university teachers, doctoral students, and early-career researchers who, like myself, want a more sustainable and humane academic work life. I’m very much at the beginning of my YouTube journey, with no prior experience in filming or editing. I’ve just recorded my very first video, and I already realize how much I still have to learn 🤯. At the same time, I’ve already found a lot of valuable guidance and inspiration from Alexas channel and here in the community, which I’m really grateful for.
