Anyone else noticing this too?
Hey store owners, something I’ve been noticing while working on my own store (and helping a few others recently): sometimes it's not about how much traffic you're getting—but what happens when people land on your store. Crazy how a few small tweaks to layout, product descriptions, or even how fast your site loads can make a big difference in conversions. Just curious—has anyone here done a quick performance check on their store lately? I did one recently and was honestly surprised by what I found. If you’re open to it, I’m happy to share what I usually check for—it might help you spot a few quick wins too.

Follow store owners, how are you managing it all?
Hey everyone, I run an online store too, and lately I’ve been feeling that constant juggle—between managing inventory, handling customers, keeping up with marketing… and still trying to grow. I’m curious—how are you all balancing things? Do you handle everything yourself, or do you outsource certain tasks? I’d love to hear what’s working for others in here. Always looking for better ways to streamline and support each other. Let’s share some ideas—what’s your current biggest challenge running your store?

@Paul Easton That makes a lot of sense. Knowing the task inside out definitely helps set clear expectations and avoid surprises. I’ve had a similar experience—paying by the hour can sometimes get tricky if there isn’t a solid scope or outcome defined upfront. I’ve personally leaned more toward project-based pricing too for that reason—makes it easier to focus on the result instead of the clock. Have you found any platforms or methods that work better for you when hiring, or is it mostly word-of-mouth now?

@Olamide Ola Absolutely agree—automating key tasks has been a huge time-saver for me too! It’s amazing how much smoother things run when you’re not constantly buried in the day-to-day. I’d definitely be open to hearing what’s been working for you and others you’ve helped. Always looking for ways to improve and scale smarter, not harder.
All About SEO and Digital Marketing
Welcome After spending over 20 years at various digital marketing agencies doing SEO and Analytics, Google Ads have now come out—maybe out of the closet, LOL. My background is in marketing and online analytics. I've seen lots of small businesses make mistakes and not understand the game. Check out the first classroom SEO intensive to understand my background and the sorts of things I do. I talk a lot about measurement, about doing things, analytics, and understanding the game. >>> Check Out The SEO Intensive Training
