Just a little update from me 💛
I’ll be popping in less over the next six weeks as I prepare for my lower back surgery in early May and then take the time needed to recover well afterward. I’m also working hard to get several new recordings uploaded to my new YouTube audio reading channel before surgery, so my days are a little fuller than usual right now. Don’t worry—I’m not disappearing, just stepping back a little for a season. Please keep the community active, warm, and encouraging while I’m quieter here. Support each other, share your projects, celebrate progress, and keep the good spirit going during the days I’m absent. Don't forget to check out what's available in the Classroom. There is no shortage of projects to get involved in, so stay creative.

Hoping everything will go great for your surgery and recovery Lynda. Keep your notebooks handy for all those ideas you come up with! I’m sure you’ll manage to stay busy tho! Sending prayers and good wishes! 🤗
My First Creation for my New YT Series '#FromStitchtoStyle"
Here are some mockup photos showcasing my first Stitch to Style creation. I started simple with just one front yoke reimagined with a slow stitched cluster added over an upcycled scarf element.

Goal: lol All my quilting retreat things are sitting here from this past weekend staring at me…daring me to get them back upstairs to my sewing room! Half of mission accomplished when my husband lugged the machine and a couple other heavier things up for me. He’s done but I still have a couple bags to take up and sort and empty! Ha.. it’s a very cool rainy day here so MY job WILL get done soon! 😊

@Lynda Coker foot Note! Have it all done! Haha. Now to get it ALL put away…I think I’ve done about 75% so far. Tomorrow’s another day!
New Video
Have some fun and upcycle some old shirts into fashionable patches and pockets. Machine sew or slow stitch as you prefer.
