From Stitch to Style | #FromStitchtoStyle
Something is stirring in me lately… and I think it’s bigger than just stitching. For so long, we’ve poured our time, our stories, our quiet moments into our slow stitch pieces… only to gently fold them, tuck them away, and place them in drawers like hidden treasures. But what if they were never meant to be hidden? What if they were meant to be seen…worn…lived in? I keep coming back to this idea: Our stitching deserves a second life — a visible one. Not just as finished pieces… but as beginnings. A patch becomes a statement. An appliqué becomes a focal point. A stitched fragment becomes the soul of a garment. This is where slow stitching meets fashion upcycling…and something truly special happens. We stop creating for the drawer…and start creating for our lives. I want to build something with you—a movement, really—where our work takes center stage, where our stitches become part of what we wear out into the world. Not perfect. Not mass-produced.But deeply personal, expressive, and full of story. I’ve started calling this journey: #FromStitchtoStyle. And I would love for you to be part of it. Use the hashtag whenever and wherever possible to make it recognizable. Imagine opening your drawer and instead of storing your pieces…you start asking: - Where could this live on something I wear?” - “How could this become a pocket, a panel, a statement?” - “What would it feel like to carry my stitching with me?” This isn’t about being a fashion designer. It's about becoming a storyteller… in cloth. Let’s take our beautiful work out of hiding and give it the life it deserves. I can’t wait to see what we create together. 💫
