As I think about everything I’ve learned since I’ve met many of you, a key thing has been trying so hard to live in the present. Right now it seems like the hardest thing in the world to do but my family needs me TODAY. I need myself to be present TODAY. So I’m here today to thank you all for the guidance and kind words as I figure out my pathway. Today my daughter started daycare. So far she seems like she’s loving it! I knew it would be hardest for my wife and I. We ugly cried in the car and at breakfast and it’s been on and off all day today 😂 we process emotions very differently so we’ve been a bit separated in the afternoon as we figure our own hearts out about this transition. But we spent some good quality time together reflecting and building. As I reflect on the present and try to move beyond my mistakes I think about how powerful this picture is from TODAY. This is the present I get to live in. And how can I ruminate in regret when this is what I have TODAY. Thank you all for listening. And if you ever need to talk please reach out.
