66 Club Meet Up!
Hello everyone, I made a group a while ago asking if anyone would be up for a meet up in person for a day of intros and some mini workshops. It would be somewhere in Bristol as this seems to be the most central point for the majority. I'm really keen to make this happen! @Nick Benger has kindly offered to get us the cricket pitch for a day which should be a decent space and away from the "don't worry he's friendly" brigade. The the last poll showed most of you would be up for some training as well as just meeting in person, but there'd be no obligation to train or even bring your dog if you'd rather not. If you just wanted to come say hi, however brief then this would be fab 👌

@Holly Pearson aww ok that's cool, depending on where I might bring one of the girls☺️, but of course environment choice is definitely important so I can choose which dog to bring ☺️ please keep me updated @Holly Pearson and @Nick Benger

@Holly Pearson I think I'll have to say depending on the weather it'll be too hot for us with what is forecasted.. But if cooler we will attend. 🙏❤️🐶
Agility Handling Brain Teaser
Our agility instructor has sent us a sneak preview of tomorrows course. I'm putting it here for anyone who might like to mull over it, I'm thinking especially if you @Sarah Green !! The first attached exercise is the warm up. It challenges your handling ability to get where you need to be. There are a few different options for you as a handler. Do you front cross jumps 1-2? Do you blind jump 2? How do you cue jump 3? Try all options.

Personally I'd stand in between 1 and 2 send over 1 then on the right to 2 and pick up at end of 2 then send around to 3
Place Training
What platforms/raised beds do you all use for place training? Whenever I look at the options I'm never really taken by any of them. Some look uncomfy for the dog for longer periods of time or very difficult to transport. What do you prefer?

Outside, id say just a mat depending where we are going, but most of the time they just lie on the ground, but at home a fluffy bed, or a soft mat. 90% of the time I have them on the sofa with me... I love a good cuddle even if I choke on taffys fairy dust and have to hoover more times then cinderella 🤣🤣they do have crates too, but I don't use them as much now because they are really good at just chilling indoors, i use them mainly now for when I'm cleaning, or when we have visitors.
Day 274 - Grind, Grind, Grind.
I had a day off today. Initially I planned to film a bunch of new videos. Then shortly into filming my wireless mic battery died. Totally my fault for not charging it but annoying! I went to train my dogs anyway. For Lupe I focused entirely on indications after yesterday's success. It started terribly. But I was determined and so persisted for some time. I think we were getting it towards the end. It feels so close! As I said in another thread it's not really the indicating I'm struggling with - he orients on the Kong top absolutely fine. The trouble is his pupils will often wander a little which I don't like. My plan is to do a lot of sessions on this over the next week. We finished on stay training. 8 minutes today, no resets 💗 This evening I was in the mood for more training so did a kitchen session on fronts too. He's making contact a bit now but sometimes at the cost of his butt shifting to one side so I have to be careful about that.

Wow 8 minutes is awesome ☺️👏 He's definitely going to get it soon.. I think if you focus on this on its own its definitely going to click.. 😊 That's great about the contact.. 😃💯🐶

Hey, me (owner) and my girls love to try new things. We love training and playing together, we also love adventures and big sniffy walks.
