Hello Heather ❤️
Where Did You Find Peace This Week?
I know I'm not the only person always keeping an eye out to find or cultivate joy in my daily life, and that is a wonderful practice. But where do you find your peace, and even better, did you maybe discover a little peace in an unexpected place? For me the two can go hand in hand, but also hold very distinct experiences. I found joy in noticing the vibrant birdsong while walking through a parking lot yesterday, and unexpected peace soon after (sharing in the comments!).

'Tis the Season - What's on Your Menu?
Hello friends - we are entering that time of year where people start planning a variety of holiday gatherings, and the seasonal changes often bring changes to what we're cooking. As we're in the 'thankful' season, I thought I'd run a series of questions so we can share our favorites (and maybe even some recipes if requested!). So for this week: whether you celebrate Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, or just a general celebration of gathering and gratitude, what are some of the foods you look forward to seeing on the table? Are there absolute must-haves? Are there absolute never-haves? Share if it's something you love to make, or maybe a family tradition that someone else makes that you enjoyed in the past or still look forward to having. Was there one particular meal that stands out in your memory? Feel free to answer some or all of these questions - I'm looking forward to the inspiration! And I'm on my way to a meeting so will post mine in the comments later this afternoon. :D

Hi Lori, I am in the UK we don't celebrate thanksgiving here. Christmas also doesn't mean too much to me, spent last christmas day alone with my dog Noodle, so apart from cooking him something special to eat no cooking done! Sorry not to have recipes to share
Getting to know you - Share about your pets!
Do you have a pet? If yes - what might your pet say about you? If not, thought about it? what pet might you get? I do not currently, but have had wonderful dogs around m [I don't think I am home enough for a dog]. The emperor Tiglath Pilesur (our most recent wonderful dog, named by my husband) would have said I was great for lounging around with, but could have taken him out to play more.

I have a beautiful dog called Noodle, featured in my profile pic. We've been through a lot together and I think he would tell me I'm stronger than I believe and also thank me for all the delicious food he gets 😄

Fun Facts No One Knows About You
Taking up the Monday Mojo Challenge because I loved Anna’s suggested community question “what’s a fun fact no one knows about you?”. Mine is a favorite from many years ago that now has to be taken on faith. I’ll explain in the first comment.

@Heather Kohlmeister i have lots of plant babies 😀 my house has plants in every room! I also love wild plants and often snapping them to find out what they are! I’ll never understand why we’re not taught more about wonderful plants in school, so much to learn! Also I love growing my own fruit and veg but unfortunately didnt do much in my garden this year as I’m being evicted and didn’t expect i would still be living where I am at this point but there’s ongoing legal battle and difficulty in getting social housing so my garden was very neglected this year but hopefully I’ll get a new place with a garden and can get back to growing my own food, which is a big passion of mine 😊 🌱 I just adore the thought of growing medicine! I’m a big believer in a plant for every ailment 😀
