It was so hard for me to remove that internal block that if my company has to grow I need to trust and delegate. But once I realize that I understood that not only delegating is important but having a team that has the leading spirit and not only the executant one is gold

Y’all got time for a story?! 😭😭 I remember the day like it was yesterday. I was sitting at my desk at my $300,000-a-year corporate attorney job, staring at the life I had built and realizing God was nudging me toward something completely different. It made no sense. I had worked hard for this. Since I was a little girl I had one goal: to become a lawyer. And I loved it. The title. The salary. The “security.” But the whisper in my spirit was louder than my fear: Go. I left. I had no clue that decision would lead me here. No business plan that mapped out a multimillion-dollar company. No crystal ball showing me how we’d pay close to 20 people each month, the contractors, the employees with benefits, the global community of experts looking to us for guidance. All I had was the next step. We started in a small conference room with 10 people, answering the question everyone kept asking me: “How do you keep getting paid to speak?” That tiny workshop turned into Speak Your Way To Cash®. I bought Alex Hormozi’s Book for you…
I’ve seen a lot of talk about Alex Hormozi’s presentation. Some say they knew all that stuff already. Some say it was masterful. I agree that it was epic. His gift isn’t just that he KNOWS business it’s that he KNOWS how to communicate these concepts brilliantly. That’s a separate tactic. Plus, if everyone already knew how to do that, they too would have broken a world record….. I think we should all be okay saying when someone is operating on a high level brilliantly. Business isn’t just about knowing stuff, it’s about high level execution. To know is one thing. But to do is another. That man executed so brilliantly and there’s nothing wrong with simply acknowledging that point. I saw my girl Lattice Hudson post something similar and couldn’t agree more - she was basically like don’t be a hater. Congrats to Alex Hormozi and the whole team on a flawless launch.
