Navigating the resistances to change
As we move forward, it’s important to understand that resistance and obstacles are part of the terrain. They tend to show up in a few predictable ways. First, when you decide to make changes internally, the resistance often appears as thoughts that try to talk you out of it. Doubt creeps in. Old logic makes its case. If you move through that and begin making real, physical changes in your life, the resistance often shifts into the external world. Circumstances push back. Situations test your resolve. And when your growth starts to act as a catalyst for others, something deeper can surface. Their belief systems and unresolved wounds, almost as if they have a life of their own, begin to respond to the change you represent. None of this is wrong or bad. It’s simply how growth moves through layers. When you understand this landscape, you stop taking resistance personally and you gain the ability to navigate it with clarity, balance, and power.
