Do you ever think about why brands don’t just pay for content… because they actually pay for influence? A lot of influencers think brands are paying for: 1 reel 1 video a few stories But that’s not really what’s happening. Brands aren’t just buying content pieces like it’s a menu. They’re paying for the effect your content has on your audience. Like… if people just watch your content, you’re a creator. But if people actually trust you and take action because of you, you’re an influencer. And that difference is exactly what increases your value. What brands are really looking for When a brand checks your profile, they’re lowkey thinking: Do people actually trust this person? Is their audience like our actual customers? Do followers listen when this creator recommends something? Does their promo feel natural… or forced and awkward? Follower count can help you get noticed, sure. But trust is what gets you repeat brand deals, not just one-time payments. Influence matters more than virality A video going viral can get crazy views, yeah. But like… if no one clicks, signs up, buys, or even remembers the brand, it doesn’t really help that much. Meanwhile, a smaller creator with a loyal, focused audience can drive way more sales and signups than a huge page with random followers. That’s why so many brands prefer niche creators now instead of just big general pages. So how do you become more valuable to brands? You become more influential when you: Talk about one clear topic again and again, not random stuff Share real experiences, not just surface-level info Explain and teach, not only entertain Build a community, not just chase numbers Give honest opinions, not only hype everything up When your followers feel like, “If this person recommends it, it’s probably actually good” that’s real influence. Why this changes how much you can charge Creators usually get low payments when they sell like: “1 post = this price.” But influencers who earn more are selling access to a trusted audience that actually listens and takes action.

That was extremely helpful. Not just defining the terms, but it explained to me what people are actually doing with their content via reels videos etc…..thank you.
What is the ONE training you need?
Is there any one thing that you feel a "how-to" video would help you with the most? I am far from an expert at everything, but have years of knowledge, and know some of the best teachers in a lot of marketing strategies. What will help YOU?

This is probably a stupid question, but what is it that people are selling with their ‘personal brands’? I get digital content, but it seems all the people I see doing this must not be creating ebooks about something because the something is never mentioned. Affiliate links? And since I’m here, I’ll ask, why does that feel weird to me? (Affiliates)I guess I came online at a time - a long time ago when a lot of you were prob small children, and affiliates were sort of looked down upon. And you’d have to have sooooo many to really make a dollar. Do people really go out of their way creating content to get Followers hoping they gain affiliates? Thank you. I’ve been refraining from asking that elsewhere.
How to make Pdfs
Hello everyone! Does anyone know how to create professional PDFs? I’m looking for platforms to design PDFs with logos, images, and other creative elements, similar to a pitch deck. If you know of any AI tools that can do this, I would really appreciate it if you could share them!

Canva!! It took me a bit to really figure it out, it now I can’t live without it. You can even make a presentation, turn it into a live webinar all within Canva!
